She def looks like she would be a freak in the sack though. That performance at the MTV awards where she pretended to hang herself turned me off.It just wasnt sexy and it sounds like her voice sucks live. No studio to clean up the all the flaws in her singing.

no kidding...she's a variation on the young blond pop diva character that makes so much money off 13 year old girls, their mothers and Johnnynoname. Britney, Pink and Christina have all grown older or moved on and something had to fill the gap.

I'm not saying that she doesn't have some musical gifts or potential but let's refrain from calling her an artist. It takes more than a slut persona and vocal track encoder to be an artist....or maybe it doesn't $:-\$

she is an artist and very good at her art

just because its designed for the masses to appreciate shouldn't detract from it's significance

No, she's the real thing. Lots of talent. She can sing, she can dance, she has already been nominated for awards for writing songs for other people. Seems to have good business sense. Her current persona was just to find a way to break through.

Many artists sound great on studio albums, but sound awful live. Gaga's live performances are great.

It really doesnt. If I girl isnt smoking hot then her voice has to be rediculous for her to succeed but a hot chicks voice can easily be totally reworked in a studio.
