So true, I can't stand when hollywood tries to milk a dead cow by redoing a movie (sometimes 2 or 3 times)

I just looked it up and apparently, there was a 3-part, 6 hr remake that was made for TV, that's not too shabby. I'll have to check it out.

And it looks like they are indeed remaking the actual movie itself, although they aren't shooting yet.

Don't jump on me guys, but I actually don't think it looks that bad. When I heard the Smith kid was doing it, I was like "oh god this will be terrible" but after seeing the preview it actually looks alright, kinda wanna see it now :-)
