The muslim faith happens to be the fastest growing religion on the planet, and will soon, if it has not already, surpass the christian faith in numbers. How do you profile such a large number? It's about as ridiculous as saying we'll focus on every single male in America until we find the few who might have a penchant for molesting children. That to me is ridiculous. There are other factors that help you hone in on your target more specifically. Those are the things I think it prudent to focus on.... otherwise I believe you are just searching for needles in haystacks... and wasteing a lot of US taxpayer money to do it.

How many passengers does an airplane hold. so a terrorist looking to blow up a plane takes how x number of people? if someone is serious, ...they can take out more people at a local sporting event. Introducing the infrigements and encroachments upon our freedoms through air travel is so effective, because people feel a special sort of vulnerability while flying. Up in the air... they have no where to run... they are essentially a captive audience. Pulling the same type of attacks on the ground where people feel much more in control, whether real or merely perceived, and you get an entirely different reaction. You'd also get an entirely different reaction to the measures governments are attempting to implement as well. Like I said, people and govs can get serious about this... or they can simply pay lip service.
