I pay $285 a month for health insurance. I have no problem with that.
surely you're aware that just stating a premium and no other info is meaningless
1. What is your deductible
2. After you pay your deductible what % of sharing in expense to you still have to pay (since you're self employed and probably not on a group plan I'd guess you still have to cover 30% of anything beyond your deductible up to yet another limit.
3. What's your total amount of coverage
4. What pre-existing conditions are excluded
5. Who get's to make the decisions on what care you get, which doctor you see, which drugs will be covered.
6. What prevents your insurance company from simply denying a claim.
7. If they deny a claim where can you go for recourse (you're an attorney so you have optoins but many people can't afford an attorney to go to court for something like this).
Do you see why just stating a premium is kind of meaningless?
