yeah right all door's open? Not if you're living in America. Have you no fucking clue? This is by far the worst time to be a college graduate in the United States. And Nursing is the number one recession proof job right now dipshit. What's your major? Psychology? Engineering? Another 21 year old know it all dipshit.
I do not have a dog in this fight, but I will jump in to say that nursing
is a recession proof job and the employment and income prospects for nurses bodes exceptionally well for the future. Schools of nursing have a very difficult time recruiting new faculty because practitioners are in such demand! They can make much more in a clinical setting than they can on the university faculty. Indeed, the demand is so great that the U.S. is importing nurses from as far away as the Phillipines.
Unlike many jobs, nurses are in demand literally everywhere! If you are sick of where you are living, you can easily pick up and move to anywhere and find another job. How many people can say that? If you have ever wanted to live in a city temporarily you can do that too. Traveling nurses often work for a firm and take placements in cities that interest them. I have a friend who does this; he rotates between San Francisco, New York and New Orleans, but his home is not CA, NY, or LA.
MEPN, MS, or PH.D. Nursing is golden!
