Who's gonna win the senate seat? mccain undoubetly has the better infrastructure, but he is gonna be what, 74 years old? And he is a moderate repub/RINO if there ever was one.

Who would you vote for?

mccain is circling his wagons.

After minimal posts for the last year, he's emailing us followers complaining about the 14.3 tril debt ceiling thing. Weird he's been so quiet about it all this time

Also, he decided suddenly that he's against bernake being confirmed - but waited until AFTER they announced there was enough votes to renew his term.

now, imagine his pro-illegal immigrant stance against the tea party JD Hayward. In Arizona!

wow... pretty bold move there.

He has a huge right-wing following. I hope she sticks with her position and doesn't waffle if/when the dude starts whooping mccain... mccain only led with 53% in a poll last week for his job against any dem candidate.

Reminds me of the time she said the bailout Bill was a great idea and that we needed it... but secretly she was against it.

Would she continue to vote/support against her own ideals because of party loyalty? Politics as usual...

seriously. I would respect her more if she said "I will always respect John mccain and I'm forever grateful for his nominating me - but I think the nation would be best served by leaders moving in the tea party direction."

it's not always easy to do the right thing. If my best friend is planning a terrorist attack, I turn his ass in. Sure, i'm being disloyal to our friendship. Maybe this friend gave me rides when my car was broke down or pulled me from a burning house.

But I put my COUNTRY FIRST. As should our leaders!

i sitll believe SOME form of stimulus was needed at that time. I didn't like where all the money went, and think a much smaller number woudl have gotten the job done,.

But yes, just 'sit back and let shit sort itself out' wasn't a good option, in m opinion. Many leaders felt the same way as well. They did approve it.

Seriously guys, if Palin TRULY wants what is best for the US of A... she would be backing those leaders who can do that. We already know what mccain will bring us - bailout bills and repub lite.

not many. he's en egotistical windbag. I don't fancy him most, and I sure as hell don't defend him. I think with his 35 years in DC make him a safe choice for presidential back-up... it would be 'business as usual' if he took over. But he's obnoxious and sure as hell doesn't look presidential. And he played politics and took the VP slot because he wanted more power.

Biden isn't going to be running for president. If there was a 2012 primary and Biden was up against hilary, you betcha I would be talking about what a bum Biden was, how he is NOT the best person for the dem nomination.

Now that we've derailed the thread, let's take party out of it.

What should ANY POLITICIAN do? Support the people who put her into power/riches? or back those leaders which will lead the USA in the most positive direction?

biden lied about the DUi thing, right? Piece o shite there. his son beau sure as hell isn't ready to run for senate, and just backed out of running for that slot because he knows anti-obama sentiment is bad. Still, he's gonna run for senate in 6 years, no doubt about it.
