Props for what?  It wasn't an act of God that put the weight on her.  She ate her way up to 270 lbs and is now normal - I don't see that as something to impress other people.

Same thing with people that stop smoking, drinking and/or drugs.  All they did was stop doing abnormal and self destructive behavior and acted like a normal person.

I've been normal my whole life and nobody would give a shit, but if I put on 200lbs and then lose it I've made an accomplishment worthy of praise??

You make a good point but we are all flawed, my brother. Some of us fall. Props to you for keeping it together your whole life. It's the nature of things not getting rewarded for just doing what is suppose to be done. No one gets credit that this country has never had another major terrorist attack since, 9/11/2001 though nobody would have predicted we would have gone this long unharmed. But if we were attack everyone would be pointing finger.
