I think you guys are confusing "Academic Intellect" and actual "Governing Ability".
Of course we want people who are academically "smart" to govern, but that doesn't mean the smartest guy in school is the best choice.
There is more to running a country than academic achievement. Thats why Harvard/Princeton professors, Nasa Scientists etc. aren't in politics.
No one here doubts that Barack Obama has impressive academic credentials, but is he good at governing? CLEARLY NOT.
Its like if you were to appoint a CEO of a company.
Would you take the guy with no experience, but has a Harvard MBA? Or would you take the guy maybe with less impressive academic credientials, but has been an Officer in numerous Fortune 500 companies for the last 30 years?
There is more to governing than Academic Degrees. And Obama clearly proves this.
