The problem is with this is Vince (and schools like this), if you ever wanted to transfer to an actual University the credits you earned with this school will not be recognized and you will more than likely have to start over.

You'll have that trouble anyway as colleges for the most part are private institutions and every one has different little groups.  My Mars Hill College credit didn't transfer anywhere and only some of my ITT credits can be transferred.  You just have to figure out how far you want to go in education and then you can draw a path to it.

As far as Edison is concerned, it is accredited but if you plan to proceed to a Masters then check with Edison and then check with the college you will go to afterwards as to whether your credits will transfer.  That's just the way colleges are.  They play the credit game with you so you'll stay within their network of school and keep the money there with them

Is ITT tech a real college? I always see those commercials and feel very sorry for the people that supposedly attend "that place".

you know, i've been reading vince's posts for quite sometime now and i notice that not once has he mentioned anything about being attracted to a girl

he is kinda non-sexual

it's like all this time he spends on the interweb talking about his shitty certs and he never thinks about women- what kinda existence is that?

Lockheed Martin thinks so.  I got a job there while I was still attending.  Then I worked as an engineer and Ikon and then Alltel came calling a few years later.  Needless to say, was laid off from all three of the places which is why I'm running my fitness business solely.

ITT is a real college but the fact is that companies look more for raw talent and the ability to perform the job well which is what I had.

Melvin enters a contest and claims he is a bodybuilder. He enrols in some on line college and considers himself educated. A short while ago he announced he had obtained a PhD degree in metaphysics and was working on another PhD as well. This guy lives in a trailer and dreams up scheme after scheme where he tries to get something for nothing. He is always telling us what he is GONNA do and clearly he never completed college or won a bodybuilding title.

Yeah, the high tech companies were 'calling' on Melvin's services. I think someone suggested he did security work or was the janitor there. Probably not the latter because he wouldn't be capable of getting a ticket to maintain machines, etc.

I think Melvin lost all credibility when he stepped on stage looking like an untrained buffoon when just a week before he was claiming he had Muntzer-like conditioning. What a joke. Now if he was just pulling our legs then the laugh is on us. He is trying way too hard to regain some respect and just misses by a whisker!

Mainly computer and electronic systems.  Obviously, I can't discuss anything I did at Lockheed however at Ikon, I worked Oce Copiers, Printers, Scanners and later on I worked on Canon Brand before I was laid off.  Alltel was nothing but cell phones, internet cards so it was a breeze.  I ran  Caliber Fitness as a side gig but I was able to go full speed with it because I got a nice severance package from Alltel and I sold all of my stocks I invested as I was putting 15% of my paycheck into the stock purchase plan.

I'm pretty good at computers and etc and I would actually rather be doing that than running a fitness business but that's the way things are and I made the best of it.  Its nice to a steady business, I control my own hourse and I don't worry about being laid off or etc.  Its just the cards are dealt

You're bitter because you never made it big in bodybuilding.  Your greatest accomplishment was the 1970 Mr Canada but then you were dead last at the Australian Pro which you claimed was fixed by Arnold Schwartznegger and never turned pro.

All you have left is your chubby girlfriend, your pink and purple gym, and your internet friendships with Getbig Trolls and other washed up people like Onlyme....... ;D

That's some real stuff for you to consider, grandpa.....

Lockheed was a great gig but I was laid off but I wasn't surprised because they do that all the time and they tell you that before you even get there.  But I got to see some pretty cool shit while I was there that some people would kill to see.

Ikon had slow sales so they laid off me a about 9 other engineers and closed up their repair facility in Piedmont where I worked.  Now all they do sell those piece of shit Ricoh machines.  They are easy as fuck to fix but they do break down easily.  A Canon machine would go for years at a time before something happened to it and usually it was be the fuser lamp coils or dirty mirrors which took me only an hour to repair.

Alltel was bought out by Verizon but to look more profitable they closed down 2 of their regional offices at which I was unfortunate to work at the one in Greenville.  That one I would say was the worst because it was broadcasted on the news and there were a bunch of news cameras and shit outside filming all of us leaving out the door for the last time.  Over 300 people including myself got the the shaft rather than the elevator that day.

Its prob worse than it was before but I don't have to worry about it anymore

What would be the point?

Making 6k a year at a job with no benefits is not exactly an aphrodisiac to women.

This thread confirms what I've been saying, here, for years: Personal Training is not a career. It's something to do for awhile until you can figure out a better way to make a living.

Vince, I noticed you only charge $30.00 per session, you can turn that $30.00 into $90.00 if you did triples. I don't know how many you train people you train per day, but $90hr is a hell of a lot better than $30.

Services

Personal Training:  $30.00 dollars per session (Jackson County Residents Only).  Please call to schedule an appointment as available times are limited.  All sessions will be conducted at the Jackson County Recreation Center.

Online Personal Training:  $15.00 a month. Includes customized training routine, nutritional meal plan, and journal software.

Business Seminars:  Are you having trouble marketing a nutritional supplement for your network marketing business.  If so then pick up the phone and give me a call.  My group seminars will give you and the members of your organization all the information and instruction to sucessfully market your nutritional supplements and ultimately build your downline.

Fee:  $3000.00 USD

Note:  A 1000.00 non-refundable retainer is required to reserve your date.  If your location is more than 50 miles away from Sylva, NC then additional travel expenses are required, either .20 per business mile or round trip business class airfare from Atlanta GA.  Hotel and food expenses are also required if an overnight stay is nessesary.  I am also available for travel to Dubai and other international countries.
