That's fine considering we all observe your intellectual volatility - it sucks!

LoL - hysterical, emotional and ridiculous much?

did you notice as soon as you became frustrated with the facts regarding the construction of a convention center that you listed a whole series of aburities that have no relevance or bearing on the topic at hand.

let me know how that phone call to the city planners in my town goes.

don't forget to tell them you're an attorney or they might just think you're another borderline retarded teabagger

Interesting that something in the constitution is being questioned by 333 yet when ever someone else questions it that is somehow blasphemy.

Bro - how many cases on eminent domain have you read?

ED has never traditionally been applied to private pursuits like this.

Perhaps but if it's a wrongful interpretation i'm sure the supreme court will strike it down.

are you sure this is a "private pursuit"

btw - why don't you focus some of your rage at George Bush and his partners for their use of eminent domain which actually was for private benefit (Bush and his partners).   They not only screwed the public but (according to Wiki) lost a court case and then somehow refused to pay the judgement.

During his tenure, the Rangers and the City of Arlington decided to replace the aging Arlington Stadium with a new publicly funded stadium, at a cost of $193 million, financed by Arlington residents, through a sales tax increase. Ground was broken on October 30, 1991 on what would become The Ballpark in Arlington (now named Rangers Ballpark in Arlington). The city, through the Arlington Sports Facilities Development Authority, also controversially authorized the seizure of 13 acres of land through eminent domain for the Rangers future development. Landowners filed lawsuits over the acquisition and eventually won settlements of $22.2 million which the Rangers declined to pay.
In 1998, Tom Hicks bought the team for $250 million and agreed to pay the settlement in relation to the 1991 eminent domain litigation. Bush received nearly $15 million from the sale, mostly due to a generous 10-percent bonus of the purchase price

The present Yankee Stadium sits where a park was.   I have been there hundreds and hundreds of times.

It's only an issue if a democrat has ties to it.

KC - I live 5 minutes from Yankee Stadium.

The present stadium sits where a park used to be.  I dont remember there being a big issue with ED over the new stadium.

They did build some retail near the stadium where literally rubble used to be and those people actually got great deals and berand new facilities in Hunts Point.  What was there literally looked something out of mad max.

However, there is a huge ED issue in the proposed Nets stadium in Brooklyn in Atlantic Yards for the Nets.  That is a huge issue and bogged down in lawsuits.

The point I was trying to make was that was public property(the park) and it is now private property that Steinbrener(sp?) was able to fandangle public funds to pay for.  Fucking corrupt if you ask me.  How many billions did that stadium cost?

Actually no, the city actually owns the Stadium and the Yankees hypothetically rent it from the City.  The finding for it was both the city via bonds and the yankees as well.  The total cost I think was about 1.5 billion.

I like the old stadium better TBH.
