Sure Roelly has some weaknesses, But Roelly himself said that Dex told him he was going to win the Arnold Amatuer Pro qaulifier...so there must ve something that Dex saw in him. Dude has it, you can't deny it, and there are no supps companies or magazines hyping him up.

I think it's jealousy as well. Roelly trains a few years and can stand with the best in the world without looking out of line. While Matt is still figuring out where Dubai, India is.

The fact that he asks of a guy who's only training for a few years and just in his 2nd pro show qualified for the O after making a great pro debut in a stack field at the Arnold, says enough about how much Matt looks up to "Rolley".

MattT, why don't you respond to the back latspread that affeman posted from Roelly?
Clearly the mass is there and there is more space with that low insertion point to expand.

For someone with a "weak" back Per Bernal seems to be pretty interested to take quite a few shots...

I dunno... it could go either way... this is why pics suck.
If it is, he's Shawn Ray narrow.. However judging from the width on his precontest pics I dont think he's fully spread yet.

Nope that's his full back lat spread on stage MD has the same pic, don't make excuses for the dude, if he has a weak back he has a weak back. We just know that he will never become mr o with a weak back, every mr o winner had a awesome back.

Dude you know that dude is getting ready to hit a full lat spread. Because in the other pics, it is fully out. And you can see that his forearms are angled downward at the waist, whereas in the fully spread lat pose his forearm angle up above the waist. You need to stop playa hatin Matt, it's not a good look. He may never be Mr. O, but he will be a top 6 or top 5 guy sooner later, more sooner than later. Once he gets his back thicker and more detailed and a thicker chest...watch out.

Exactly,all this is,is a question of not knowing how to "feel" a pose right,its two different things to hit a pose in the gym and have someone there to tell you to move your hands slightly,pull the elbows back a little,and then tell you you to hold that position while they take a pic.And then trying to recreate that pose onstage all alone.Roelly just needs to spend a lot more time hitting poses to find the right position on each shot.Actually this applies to most of the pro`s today,none of them seem to know how to hit each pose to its best effect.

From the 4 pics I posted and the posted pic of his latspread in the gym, you really call his back a weak back?
It's not a Coleman, Yates or Haney back but it CERTAINLY is NOT a weak back.

Why don't you take some of that thickness out of that head of yours and add it to your legs?

Sidenote: The back pics posted of Mike Kefalianos are phenomenal!!

his 7th place at the ASC would still place top 10 at the O.
at his PRO DEBUT.
