I don't think he wants to.
I believe I have a decent understanding of what the Intense One has planned.
Every type of gym has a target demographic – even if it is the general public.
Joe’s facility will not handle, cater, or appeal to circuit training soccer moms or guys who’s weekly regimen consists chest & biceps
(often done inside the only available power rack) 4X/week.
Joe possesses a real world reputation and offers unique services
(over the cookie-cutter ACE graduates) along with the appropriate environment for the clients who are seeking these kinds of things.
And I doubt that having a BS that qualifies him to be a phys-ed teacher would benefit him at this point.
Of course he’s not gonna have the same membership volume as a 24-Hr Fitness, but neither is his overhead.
In addition to that balancing ratio, I’m sure his MMA guys & other athletes are going to pay him more than $25/hr. because he’s worth a lot more than the “franchise” PT’s who all not only wear the same clothes, but train every client the same way – texting on their phones while counting reps out loud.
