people in the UK have been buying up USD for the last 18 months, anxious to see it rebound against the Euro.

RPaul's predictions, along with schiff and others, would have been correct - However, the US govt intervened and took some actions.  They were the bailout and stimulus bill.

now, did many bankers take $ and run?  Sure.  Were bonuses obscene?  Yes.  But somehow, all the wise people from 2007/2008 who said the dollar was toilet paper - their predictions haven't come true.  Yet?

My personal belief is that while we're all aware of the sham that is the US money system... perhaps the rest of the world is either dependent upon us, scared of us, and/or their money systems are just as shaky.

So things will probably continue to slowly trend downward overall as the world realizes we were living beyond our means for decades... but a crash? I don't see it.

Weren't you on the Ron Paul Money Bomb band wagon as well?

A fan boy of Celente and all of those tough guys?

Or am I remembering wrong?

Pardon me if I did then. 8)

Nice move by dipshit "Hugo" to use a FIXED NEWS poll to justify the Paul Ron fella's wackiness, and then lock the thread.
LAME  ::)
Fox News poll wouldn't mean anything to you, but it would mean something to much of the people who vote republican.  Ron Paul is a republican the last time I checked.  I've posted stuff from Fox News before when it was appropriate to who the message is intended.  I locked it because of my fucking stalker.  It can't be reasoned with and it will not stop.

I have a few graphs that are in png. format that would shut BF & Benny up for a while.  Hoe can I post png. files?

Just go on google and search the graphs on the present value of the dollar compared to 1900.  We have lost almost 95% of the purchasing power of what a dollar used to purchase.

also remember when this video came out?  Now even you know how much I don't like Glenn Beck but when this came out months ago I posted on it and said I agree with it.  This video is an excellent explaination of why the shit hasn't hit the fan yet but is a bomb they can drop on the dollar anytime they want at this point.  Ron Paul never made predictions of exactly when the shit would hit, he's spent his time more addressing the system that will enable it.

NPV of the dollar currency relative to 1900 is not a "collapse" and is immaterial to Ron Paul's hysterical claims, dipshit. lol

I think I got it converted to JPG for you.  Is this the chart you were talking about?  It's not from 1900.  If you have a link to another, I'll get it saved in jpg format.  You should post this as a thread.  It deserves its own thread for debate.

You're the guy that said that the price of gold was going to come tumbling back down months ago, yet its still hovering around the 1100 dollar mark.  ::) Where is the big crash you predicted would occur with gold?

Actually he has said many times over that Austrian economics predicts trends, never specific dates. Marc Faber agrees with him though...

A few hours ago I read an article featured on Yahoo that basically said, Wahoo!!! The recovery is here and going good, but sorry, nobody is hiring and you're not likely to ever get your job back, ever.  I kid you not, they basically said vast amounts of the recently unemployed will not be welcome in the new "wallstreet economy...."  Message to all those unemployed in manufacturing and other: "tough shit, take a hike, die for all we care..."

Well, it has been called (quite officially) a jobless recovery.

I know lol, like we're supposed to be ok with that.  The article I was reading was basically adding on to the Jobless recovery theme by saying: and oh, by the way, your jobs are not coming back.

There are no jobs man. Here in NYC we have 20%+ unemployment. I know highly qualified people who have been looking for months and months...

Well I sometimes hesitate to include NYC amongst the rest of the country but I believe that technically, it is.

No jobs here though...still, you don't really see it, at least in Manhattan, the yuppy trash go about their business as usual.

why did you come back?  The last I heard you were never coming back?  The tax issues alone are going to be a huge hassle.  good luck if they come knocking.

also, is that a hit against NY or the rest of the country?  It could be taken either way as stated.
