Um, I don't know any hamburger recipes; however, putting a fried egg on top of a hamburger with onions and mushrooms is really good  :D :D

Mix in a packet of onion soup into your ground beef/turkey.

pregrill buns

red onions, pickles, cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato (if you so desire)

THIS. My default BBQ prep almost to a T. If I have more time, or there is lounging/drinking time, I will use the real ingredients instead of the soup mix. I would add a good selection of mustards.

Bonus: Prepare some potato packages!  One good-sized sliced potato per tin foil pack/person. Several huge slices of Spanish onion to each pack. One garlic clove finely sliced (by hand!) and a good lashing of real butter also to be added to each package. Put on top rail of BBQ to smoke/cook for 40 mins. When the onions are caramelized/blackened is when they are ready. Enjoy. (NO HOMO)

The meat should be always grilled?  Or you can fry it in a pan?

You are wise chimps, I will try your method.  Also, if you have a white onion around, chop it in half, and use one half, flat side down that to clean/rub/wipe the grill before applying rest of food (sounds weird, i know).  then put the half onion off to the side, let it carmelize, and then cut up when you're ready to eat.

Also, throw some fresh rosemary on the coals right before you put the meat on.

BBQ always, if possible. Life is too short to worry about carcinogens in meat. The BBQ taste is religious if done right. Add friends and alcohol at goodly intervals, too.

Noted! What a great idea! I assume you let the grill flame/heat up for a few minutes before doing so, and not on a cold pad?

Meat. Sea salt. Fry it up. Eat it. (For a topping, sometimes mozzarella cheese.)

Boring, I know, but fast and easy.

I like to chop up bacon and mix it with the ground beef.  Great flavor.

I like to just throw a pound on the stove in a pot with some water, cook it up, then sprinkle it over whatever meals I'm eating later in the day.  A little beef makes everything better.

Multiple protein profiles, or some shit like that.

I promised to report back about the reports. I've successfully completed a hamburger. I have no idea, if its similar to the American original, i never was in the states, but its very similar to what i ate in the TGI-'s Fridays. The only problem, that i had to fry it in a  pan - no barbecue in the flat. So here is the end result:
