Fox News just ran a short story announcing a man was arrested for threatening to kill Rep. Eric Cantor (R-VA)and his family. If I heard correctly, the threat was made in a YouTube video.

TPM has the statement from the U.S. Attorney for Philadelphia and a supporting affidavit:

4. On March 26, 2010, the FBI, San Francisco Division, received a copy of a video that had been removed from the internet website YouTube. The video included images of a white male, later identified as NORMAN LEBOON, making threats against United States Congressman Eric Cantor, 7th Congressional District - Virginia. The video appeared to be homemade and was of good quality. The face of the white male can clearly be seen. statements:

5. During the video NORMAN LEBOON made the following "My Congressman Eric Cantor, and you and your cupcake evil wife..." "Remember Eric...our judgment time, the final Yom Kippur has been given. You are a liar, you're a Lucifer, you're a pig, a greedy ****ing pig, you're an abomination, you receive my bullets in your office, remember they will be placed in your heads. I just read a short story on CNN and there is no info about who this guy is, does he have a nutbag history, political affiliations etc...

why not wait until some actual facts are in the public domain before spouting off like a reactionary loud mouth

Did Barack Obama inspire one of his donors to threaten a top GOP lawmaker?

Norman Leboon, Sr, the man reported to have been arrested for making a death threat video against House Minority Whip Rep. Eric Cantor (R-VA) and Cantor's family is listed by the Federal Elections Commission as having made two donations to the presidential campaign of Barack Obama in 2008.

According to the FEC, the donations were made on successive days in June 2008, on the 20th for $255 and on the 21st for $250. There are no other federal election campaign contributions listed for Leboon.

Just a week before Leboon made his contributions, Obama spoke in Leboon's hometown of Philadelphia on June 13, where he urged his supporters to "bring a gun" to the political battles against their opponents:

" If they bring a knife to the fight, we bring a gun. Because from what I understand, folks in Philly like a good brawl. I’ve seen Eagles fans."

In September 2008, Obama told his supporters to argue with his opponents and get in their faces.
