my dad was a marine sniper in vietnam....he was redeployed as a reserve to coulumbia when i was very little...needless to say by the time i was old enough to start shooting he wanted nothing to do with it...but we had a ass load of guns...every male on both sides of my family shoots....i just happened to be naturally better than all of them...by the time i was 13 i was on the us national team for shotgun...i quit when i was 18 and started doing sniper competitions.....
.....what i have is a sickness.....dont get into this game unless you have deep pockets...

Hmmm, interesting. But you enjoy it, any type of passion with mechanicals requires one to have deep pockets...I have collections of different things. Just like you my dad was into hobbies, but his was cars, but you can't have a hobby if you are cheap, right? Therein lies what dad was about...and it hit me late...I have about 200 high quality 1/18 and 1/12 scale car models...and many cost a pretty penny, especially the carbonfiber models andche ones limited to 5,000 units world wide...used to order them from Exoticar.com. I stopped after I saw the money I blew on them (2-5 grand for carbonfiber wind tunnel models?!!)
