those are warne rings too arent they?.....you could prolly get away with the "lows"..or "extra lows" with a 40mm objective, and a 20 MOA base...

have you considered adding a karsten cheek piece?

bench
Im going be just like you, I think I'm gonna have start out small...what got you started? And what was your first "piece"? And how did it grow?

remind me of my cousin..

shooting is easy, now long rang or moving targets can be tough. but for the most part it dumbfounds me how people can be such horrible shots. line it up and pull the trigger.

Hmmm, interesting. But you enjoy it, any type of passion with mechanicals requires one to have deep pockets...I have collections of different things. Just like you my dad was into hobbies, but his was cars, but you can't have a hobby if you are cheap, right? Therein lies what dad was about...and it hit me late...I have about 200 high quality 1/18 and 1/12 scale car models...and many  cost a pretty penny, especially the carbonfiber models andche ones limited to 5,000 units world wide...used to order them from Exoticar.com. I stopped after I saw the money I blew on them (2-5 grand for carbonfiber wind tunnel models?!!)

Guns are illegal in the UK. Good in terms of public safety but makes the people bitches of the government.

Allowing privately owned guns doesn't put people on equal footing with the government, hope this helps
If the American forces could demolish Saddam's professional army in a matter of days with negligible casualties theres no fucking way a "citizen's militia" is going to do anything to stop them

bench, you seem to know your shit but......... those are smith enterprises rings, low mount (they have an NSN#) and a Mounts Plus PRI no rise base. i dont think ill ever get over 500 yards so i dont worry about it for now. Being in South Florida there are not really any ranges past 200 yards.

more to come. im getting ready to SBR my Spike's lower and put together a Bravo Comp. lower and an LMT 16" upper. have a Glock 17 and 26.

 This is true.

With the weapons technology the US government has these days, a bunch of rifles isn't going to do shit against them.

When they don't know whos with and whos against them then they are fucked.

Look at the IRA in Ireland... Vietnam... The terrorists in the middle east... They are all fucking with the USA/UK.
