My grandfather came over from Ireland in 1932 (the height of the great depression).  He lived in one room apt with 3 of his brothers.  He worked as a Janitor, getting only 1 day off every two weeks. He put himself through night school to get a diploma, after getting 2 purple hearts in the war finally finished his night school and got a job at the post office and ended up retiring as a GS-15. His kids all went to colleges, and he died knowing that all his kids and grandkids were better off than he was.

His story is not unique in America-it's more of the norm

how i came to America...it ws on an L2 business visa. within 1 yr of us having that visa my dad has spent around 700k in cash and bought a (surprise) gas station. Who am i engaged to...to yes an American girl although if i tell her she is white she gets pissed....thats just how Greek people are. Contrubute to making America a better place...yes ...hiring Americans since 1993 and paying tonnes in taxes has made America a better place. I teach IT classes and i have had the privilidge to teach govt ajencies ..and from the ones i CAN mention are the FBI,DISA,Military...so i've helped educate these folks (some of whome r still friends of mine) and they went on to 'places' to serve.
