hey guys, i saw at the gym the other night this little bottle of protein. it's got 50 grams of protein a serving, and it's like 4 bucks a bottle. i tried it after i had already had a protein shake, and i felt like an adrenaline roid rush was going through me! (strong stuff, but very sweet and tangy). has anybody else tried this? i saw it online at prosouce for like 32 bucks for 12 bottles. i thought maybe it's better than traditonal protein shakes. (2 a day of these and good to go).

Benchmstr likes them a lot - drinks up to 3/day.

He's almost got me convinced to try them.

yeah...i drink 2-3 a day.....the only complaint i have is the taste but the 4oz serving is only 2 drinks so i can live with it.....i noticed a lot of positive things from taking them...i would highly recommend them to anybody who is able to drink them...

i have fruit punch, and orange...but i only drink the fruit punch....i am afraid to try the orange though......i gave my friend a orange one but he hasnt tried it yet...the orange could taste great for all i know...

i got 3 oranges it the variety pack i ordered.....

thanks benchmaster! (3 a day though)?! damn! but to be truely huge, i know ya gotta comsume massive amounts of protein, and 150 grams plus regular meals will do it! (i did tell one dude at the gym about them, and he's gonna try it). i hope he likes them, cause he's a big mo' fo' , and i don't want him to beat me up if he doesn't like them!

its not that i am trying to get huge....i have been huge before, i am happy where i am at now....i drink that many a day because i only sleep 2-3 hours a night......so my days are much longer than a normal persons...

don't get me wrong..at first it was great, then the commander retired and the new guy had 0% real world experience outside of the training schools he went to......he was going to get someone killed, and he only wanted to do operations that he thought would get us on TV....i was having to do all the felony warrants on my normal shift because it was taking him too long to plan a raid....since i quit he has been fired...

most of them have no idea what they are doing....they're knowledge of tactical warefar was gained from modern warefare 2.......most of the swat guys are the same as star trek nerds....but with modern warfare instead...

i have been offered the commander position over our team...but i couldn't keep my current position...so i pass..

It's pure shit. Here's what's found on the ingredients list. Hydrolized Beef Protein Collagen Isolate

Collegen is mashed up bone and skin. For $4 you can buy a cut of beef and cook it yourself that is 1000% better than that crap.

Collagen protein is farther down on the label – which, technically speaking, indicates a lower percentage of content than the ingredients appearing before it.

However, the Beef Protein Isolate listed before the collagen is part of a “blend.”
The favorite trick of some companies is to invent some blend so that they can include the desirable ingredient (as part of it) higher up on the label.

Looks like good, old water takes 1st prize in that category.

Exactly. If it's a Proprietary blend then they can list the contents of that blend in any order. So there's 50 grams of protein but they don't tell you if its 48 grams of collagen or just 1 gram. It's crap and crap at a pricey point. You can just buy normal whey shakes for a couple of bucks that's better for you.

Here's the list.

You notice the blend is in square brackets [] then the collagen is next outside. So chances are the blend may be 26 grams and the collagen is the other 24 grams of the total 50 grams of protein.
