Again, please show me a debate Ron Paul lost?  Please show me a debate where Ron Paul looked bad?  And keep in mind that the media attacks on Ron Paul are huge, they have many times tried to set him up to make him look bad but he still answers the questions in a calm manner that makes them look like fools.  

I know age matters, but we all know age is not an absolute.  Some people lose it with age, some go to their graves at 98 sharp as a whip.  The reason age mattered with McCain is because he was absolutely showing it in every manner.  I do not see that with Ron Paul.  He can snap off the same asnwer to a question that he gave in the 80's.  And that's consisitency.  He has that above all other candidates.  With Ron Paul, you fucking know what you're going to get.  It's a message he's maintained his whole life.  No other candidate out there has that going for them.  

So in the next election, you can find yourself between shitty candidate A and shitty candidateB or you can actually have a choice to finally pick a person who has maintained a singular message for his entire career in politics, RON FUCKING PAUL!!!!!!!!!!!!

At this point what you're really saying is that you're submitting to what the media tells you needs to happen.

are you kidding, I can find 2 dozen presidents from the past that look more haggared than Ron Paul.  The reason Ron Paul can get away with it at an other age is that he's never deviated from his message.  Listen to the Ron Paul tapes from the 80's and it's the same as now.  These are extreme constitutional basics.  He would be fine for 4 years governing on what he has spent most of his life preaching.  He's not like 98% of these other clowns that are not sure what's coming and going, changing their message to fit as the times change.  Ron Paul has remained constant.  Even if he lost his mind, he would still remember the basics which is all he's put forth for so many years.

IF Ron Paul runs, I will this time register republican to vote for him in the primary and for president.  

Oh and show me a debate Ron Paul has came out looking like shit in?  You say he isn't good in a debate.  I've watched him debate with so many I can't count them and I have never felt he lost.  He always comes out owning the opposition.  That's part of his fan base, all these videos of him owning some fool trying to get the better of him.

Nailed it. He only suffers through his speeches. They are too long at times and trail off without a deeper expalination but I understand why, the topics are complicated and unless the individual does some of their own research it will just wind up going over their heads.

And another thing, notice how people here who are usually opposed on stuff end up uniting behind Ron Paul.  That's an important factor to consider.  Ron Paul has never lost as much as the media has beat him.  Now we can say, why vote for Ron Paul because he can't get the media behind him, or we can collectively say, fuck the media and vote the man in!!!!!!!!!

what happens when countries are in turmoil and he decides that its none of our business? when genocide is taking place and he decides its none of our business? when he limits govt control on issues that they feel need govt control or want more in?

Ive maybe heard ron pauls name 2 or 3 times on cable news...what I know of ron paul I know from the internet and friends(I am from Texas, you know? where ron paul is from...)

Ill agree that it doesnt really matter why ppl get behind him but I think that in alot of areas liberals and not independents that lean liberal(which I might categorize you as) would be disappointed in paul in areas outside of bringing our troops home and parts of his foreign policy.

just like the right, there is a vast range on the left.  it's impossible to speak for them as a whole.  With Ron Paul, he's managed on attracking a pretty good portion of the left, not sure any other republican could do the same!..  And that was during a period where so any were hating on everything republican.  now he has only more to gain.
