Why did you slit the goats throat Toxic?
muslims sacrifice animals on eid cause ibrahim(i think) ws told by god to kill his son and then when he tried the son ws magically replaced by a goat...click the link i posted..that explains it better than i can...(post above this)
so ...ya go buy the goats (or cows..or some do camels) from the goat market a week in advance...and all us kids get to play with the goats (we usually had around 12 )...take em for walks
...etc...its exciting...
then on the morning of eid...ya do the sacrifice...divide the meat up...for the poor and yerself and then ya go dress up and visit family and friends.....but there is blood everywhere on the streets cause ..everyones doing it ...we did ours in the garage though...
anyhoo... the neighbors kid bet me to do a goat...and i asked the family butcher and he said sure...just ask your dad...and he said....whatever floats your boat....
so the butcher held the goat down...his helper pulled its head back and i slit its throat...and the blood sprayed everywhere...poor goat...and the smell...it ws worse than the blood....
even now i eat my steaks well done....or if my girl bothers me too much about it...medium well
