We grabbed the OTHER Gromkowsk!    His fullback brother. But I hear the TE picked by Baltimore is compared to Witten...if that's true, they got themselves a hell of a guy!

Gronkowski has been compared to Witten/Kevin Boss. Before his back injury (which kept him out in 09 and has since healed)Gronowski was thought of by many as the most complete/best te in the draft. He can catch and block and is a "character guy". I am pumped that the Patriots landed him. Actually I'm shocked because Gresham tore his acl, but is a slightly better receiver.

6'6 - 265 - 4.60 forty

Dallas signed a basketball player from NC State at TE   but I am not sure how serious they were about him. But that's starting to be a new trend. TE's who used to play basketball. Bennett swears he's up there with LeBron and Kobe in basketball.  But his brain is some where n the cold parts of the South pole!  ::)

I think Thomas can still play. He's only 32 years old. I know that's getting up there in football years, but he can still be productive playing for someone else. He won't be unemployed for very long.

Well they don't need him   they have Armonte Edwards to take care of business.   If he can beat Michigan, he can beat the Saints!

Started out great, then turned into a locker room issue. He's on the back nine and he wants to get paid, again. I don't fear him at all.

This guy was a mistake. To be fair, Thomas was all the things you'd look for in a 3/4 ilb. Just didn't work out.

Not sure this is true. Thomas was a bonafied locker room issue when things didn't go his way. He would have been snatched up asap if someone really wanted him. He'll play again, though.

I think he can still contribute for sure, wouldve been a nice fit for the jets. Certainly a better acquisition than jason taylor.

9ers a B+. Glad we got some O linemen and another safety. But we still need another pass rusher and didn't address it.

We signed Travis LaBoy who is pretty good when healthy.  He is injury prone.

He is injury prone but when healthy, he's a beast as a hybrid DE/OLB. Important piece of Arizona's defense during their SuperBowl run in '08.

I honestly don't know, i like the center from florida pouncey in the first round

haven't missed on a first rounder since troy edwards in 98

they built up some linebacker depth, my favorite move was a 5th rounder for cb bryant mcfadden who was pretty good for us

one thing really scares me, matt millen really liked our draft :-X :-\

Best drafting team of the last decade:

Colts
Patriots (slightly ahead of steelers due to one more sb win)
Steelers
Ravens
Chargers

The Gmen have had some quality drafts after Acorsi and now Reece has taken over.

the year the Gmen won the superbowl every player they drafted made the team.
