Did you even watch the video?   The SS guy is directing the local swat team people.

What point of the video shows Obama on the phone dialing up the SWAT?

Or what point of the video show the SS dialing up the SWAT?

Directing the local authorities don't mean shit in your argument.  The SS takes priority charge of any venue the POTUS is in.  Telling the SWAT where to go isn't the same as they - or Obama - calling the SWAT.

I didn't see Obama or the SS phone them.

You must have.  You claim it as fact.  Now prove it.

OBAMA "S.W.A.T.'s" TEA PARTY

Published 04/29/2010 - 2:51 p.m. CST  Riot Police and Snipers Called Out to Defend Quincy, IL Convention Center Against Geriatric Tea Party Protesters

There continues to be a common theme developing with respect to the reality that is the Tea Party movement and the opposition to it by this Obama administration. The movement is mostly made up of conservative Christians with a predominantly older demographic. The protests that began taking place in April of 2009 have been extremely peaceful with no arrests. Protests have continued all across America with untold numbers of people participating.

The Tea Party protest outside the Quincy, IL Community Center with Barack Obama inside was no different – except for the S.W.A.T. Team that was called out to defend the Community Center from being attacked by a rabid geriatric Tea Party that sang, “God Bless America” on a nearby street corner. In addition to riot police on the ground, there were snipers positioned on the roof of the building.

John McTernan, founder of Defend and Proclaim the Faith Ministries, sees a very disturbing trend taking place not only via this administration's increasingly overt attempts to demonize patriotic and Christian citizens but encourages more attention to be paid to the leadership within the U.S. Military, which he says is also taking on an anti-Christian tone.

As evidence of this, McTernan points to a report done by a man named Major Brian L. Stuckert in May of 2008 – link below. While that report was written several months before Obama took office, McTernan says that its contents, which were widely distributed within the military are cause for serious concern during an administration that continues to polarize America - at least in significant part – along Christian lines.

McTernan makes a strong case that Stuckert's report singles out the “Christian Right” and in no uncertain terms the beliefs of certain types of Chritians as potentially leading to an attempt by some unnamed foreign adversaries of the United States to polarize this nation by exploiting the beliefs held by such Christians. The irony is that the polarization today is not coming from any foreign adversary. It is coming largely from the Executive Branch of the United States government.

Making news recently was the Pentagon's turning away of Christian evangelist Franklin Graham from the National Day of Prayer for his comments about Islam. Meanwhile, representatives from extremely questionable and suspect Islamic groups – Islamic Society of North America – are counseling U.S. Troops in the name of diversity; Louay Safi held such a position at Fort Hood AFTER the attack by Major Nidal Malik Hasan.

On the 2008 campaign trail, Barack Obama called for a “Civilian National Security Force” that would be “just as strong, just as powerful, (and) just as well funded” as the U.S. Military. He has yet to clarify exactly what that meant. That lack of an explanation coupled with the continued polarization of America along Christian conservative lines has many seeking that clarity. If the U.S. Military is undergoing such a transformation that started before Barack Obama took office, how accepting would such a movement be to those ideas under the administration of a president who shares similar views?

When the Repubs called out the SWAT teams, they beat the crap out of and arrested legitimate journalists.

Where were the arrests and assaults here?

If granny were a liberal, those guys would have already tear gassed her ass and shot her with rubber bullets then detained them all in a make shift camp.  There's countless vids of the left getting that treatment.  I don't think the left has ever watched the stormtroopers line up and not be used. ::)

I swear you are a fucking idiot at times...you just made shit up...shit fuckin disgusts me..

http://voices.washingtonpost.com/right-now/2010/04/the_myth_of_the_anti-tea_party.html

The myth of the anti-tea party SWAT team
I like to keep track of fables and narratives within the tea party movement, and we learned of a new one this week -- the story of the "SWAT team" called out to threaten tea partyers in Quincy, Ill. In the words of Jim Hoft, the Gateway Pundit:

The SWAT Team was called in today at the Quincy Tea Party Rally ... local Quincy Tea Party Leader Steve McQueen was directing protesters when the SWAT team was called in.
The only problem with that? The SWAT team wasn't called in. Local police, wearing riot gear, briefly marched down the street to clear it for the president's motorcade.

UPDATE: More details from John Cook.

The story, from the Quincy Herald Whig.

There were a few tense moments when the crowd moved west down York toward Third Street after the president's motorcade arrived. A Secret Service agent asked the crowd to move back across the street to the north side.

When the crowd didn't move and began singing "God Bless, America" and the national anthem, Quincy Deputy Police Chief Ron Dreyer called for members of the Mobile Field Force to walk up the street.

The officers, mainly from Metro East departments near St. Louis and dressed in full body armor, marched from the east and stood on the south side of York facing the protesters.

There was no physical contact, and the officers did not come close to the crowd, but there were catcalls and more than a few upset tea party members, including a woman who shouted, "This is communism!"

McQueen also assisted in asking people to step back to the north side of York. The crowd moved back, the officers stayed for about 15 minutes and left, and there were no other incidents.

The video of cops in riot gear walking down the street in formation is more weird than threatening. But the sexed-up version of this story is so good that HotAir headlines it "SWAT team outside Obama event beats back geriatric tea-party hordes," even though the blog's own take on the story is less intense.

This isn’t a SWAT team, actually, just local cops in riot gear, but it is the first time I’ve ever seen police in armor do a jaunty little parade down the street when responding to an event. I assure you, when the NYPD rolls up in helmets and shields, they’re all business.
You'll see these photos again, with or without the story of "SWAT teams" battling back average Americans. (It's very important, for some reason, that Hoft point out that most of the protesters were elderly white women.) If tea partyers want to oppose actual police state SWAT tactics, though -- and not just make overheated arguments about the looming "communism" of Barack Obama -- I'd point them to the work of Radley Balko.

you are a woman.. i swear you are
