Taught me that natural lifting is for those that are patient and aren't looking for shortcuts .. For those who truly enjoy lifting... And not just only the muscles that come with it.

Oh brother....shortcuts have nothing to do with it on the pro-level.  It's getting past your genetic potential.
I do things for a reason...i.e. lift to get stronger or build muscle...Ask many of the pros and they'll tell you they do it to stay competitive not cause they like it.

While you and "Crotch" walk around preaching you're natural, everyone else is in awe of the juiced up fellas and broads....Not that you care but you the hate of juicers run deep cause you hate them cause you ain't them.

I have no problem with naturals except when they start complaining about juicers cause no one will recognize the naturals..."accomplishments"

Since most gyms now are populated by lots of juiced up teens and the typical bald tattooed bloated guys... having a good physique and not being juiced is pretty rare. In fact, it feels kind of special to be in that small percentage of people that can achieve that, especially when you're in your 40's. Plus having the knowledge to keep your hormones still producing decent amounts of test on your own without hrt is equally rare, since so few people know how to do it. Steroids are a primitive technology and have been around since the mid-50's. Yes, they get you big, but the shortcomings of depressing your hpt axis means the results are always temporary, unless you stay on a permanent cycle..which can lead to heart problems..from screwed up hdl and ldl levels.

Having a good physique and being natural is not rare, plenty of high school athletes have a good physique and what's funny is these self professing natural bodybuilders who aren't any better than that.

I agree for the most part..but a lot of high school athletes are juiced nowadays. And to be honest, I see very few people in gyms that aren't juiced that I would say look impressive, except for some black guys with great genetics.

I have nothing against gear users. I used to be an avid watcher of the men in thongs contests. (no homo) ;D

I'd like to live to 120 and be physically active and healthy, which is my main motivation for staying fit.

Not this shit again...   ::)  Do you think that guys (well, most guys... I'm not talking about beer drinking frat boys here) that juice somehow train less hard than a natural?  It's quite the opposite.  Many of them trainer harder, longer, and more frequently because their bodies can handle a bit of extra abuse.

As for eating, think they eat less?  No way.  You have to do the right things for your body to take advantage of the increase of anabolic hormones in your body - and it's alot of work to be honest.  I recommend you "nattys" to try a basic, first cycle for yourself (especially if AAS are legal in your area).  When you keep everything exactly the same and see only marginal results, you'll understand.

A lot of high school athletes are not juiced.  Both texas and jersey spent several million dollars testing high schoolers and the results were quite conclusive.

But yes I completely agree, impressive physiques require steroids, hence why loud naturals are so funny.

it has taught me that my genetics are no where near teh black mans
and that i will NEVER "stay in for the weekend and not party with friends because i dont want to hinder my gains" again
and that supplements are a waste (except whey)

some natural guys i have talked to are extremely regimented, meals, not going out, sleep, props to them.
i like to have a social life which can keep me from a gym session from time to time.
i have a more relaxed approach now and found out that less training is better (dont worry im not the all drugs type)
but more importantly I AM LIVING MY LIFE and not worrying about when my next protein shake is due

If you want to be average, go to message board where average people discuss their average ideals on life.

If you want to succeed in life, you don't even subject yourself to what other people think.

that if you want to look good you need to be a narcistic psychopath that worries about protein

that the bb lifestyle is useless and a waste of energy

one should only enjoy lifting heavy

Natural trainers are rare, natural trainers with decent physiques are even rarer.

Natural training is all down to lines and shape, without the mass there is nothing to cover structural deficiency's, guys like Zane and Paris could look good at lower bodyweights where as Ronnie and Jay wouldn't.

Which is why most guys get on the gear asap.

LOL ;D

natural bodybuilding taught me that if you work REAL hard, and NEVER miss a meal, and DEPRIVE yourself of many of lifes pleasures, and live the life of an Ascetic

and WORK, and WORK, and WORK, and EAT, and EAT, and EAT

........in a couple of years people MAY be able to tell that you are marginally more muscular then a college swimmer (as long as you have your shirt off and possess good genetics)

That it's no big deal whether you're natural or a juicer

That there will always be people who will disbelieve your claim of natural status

ha, for you maybe!

I have been thinking of writing that topic many times before, and the time has just came!

I have been living the natural bodybuilding live style since January 2005, and this is what I have learned from it:

1-It teaches you how to be patient and shows you nothing comes without pains and sacrifices.

2- It arranges your daily schedule and a professional way that make  you respect the time very well since timing is plays major role on it.

3-It takes you to bed early at night and wake you up early in the morning.

4-It keeps you concerned about your nutrition and always look for the valuable food and drinks and avoid the non essential food and drinks.

5-It makes you a competitive person in life challenges!

6-It makes you wise that you try to be as much as possible away from trouble and problems because you always want to save your energy for your training session

7-It makes you feel happy about yourself satisfied by the way you look and live a healthier life overall.

I may have forgotten something, please share yours with us.

I wish a nice and healthy life for all of you guys.  :)

great post bro. although it hasnt taught me all these things ;D..

patience and challenge are the first to come in my mind and also the love of what GOD has given you as it's without wanting to change it unnaturally!!..

That there will always be people who will disbelieve your claim of natural status

That you'll never be as big or strong as the pros

That there are guys who juice who train just as hard and are maybe more dedicated

That it's useless to compete in contests as a natural, unless you don't mind being an also ran who doesn't get anywhere in terms of your winning record

That you need to have the patience of an elephant and be very realistic about what you can achieve, which takes upwards of 15 years of hard effort

That if you do manage to build a decent physique, it does make you feel better

That there are going to be at least a couple of posters who are gonna roll their eyes at this post of mine...

::) ::) ::)
am i the first?? ;D
