You maybe don't understand as english is not your first language.

If I had a neice and she swore I would shout at her for swearing. I would also be a hypocrite as I swear. However me telling her not to swear is still the right thing to do.

No, you would not be a hypocrite you would be inconsistent. Hypocrite is a very over used term and accusation. If you were a smoker but didn't want your kids to smoke would that make you a hypocrite? How about if you were a pro bodybuilder but would never want any of your kids near the sport? What if you like those Hooter girls but would never want your daughter to do that?

Now if you were to preach fidelity and claim that anyone who cheats on their spouse should burn in hell but you yourself were a serial adulterer then you would be a hypocrite. To pretend to hold some virtue that you neither believe nor practice is a hypocrite. To feign some desirable or approved behavior but do the opposite in your private life is hypocrisy.

Just because you have some human weakness or engage in some undesirable behavior and don't want others to emulate those traits that is not hypocrisy, my good hearted friend. Just being human.

Not at all. If you don't believe in something I don't understand why you would go on about it so much - If I was ass raped I would go to the police. My experience with the R.Catholic faith has been nothing but positive.

Pellius thats a great post. Appreciate it man!

Sorry to burst your bubble, the bible contains astrological knowledge from the ancient times, nothing fancy, Jesus The Son is simply to give glory to The Sun, what he is beeing referred to.

You know I think your very right. The wording of the words of Genesis is very interesting. Jesus always spoke in parables. The entire Bible is filled with metaphors, parables, similes, irony, and foreshadowing. The descriptions of the creation of existence, when read through a lens that takes into account the parabled way of messaging that Jesus and the bible uses...   some extremely interesting things start to pop out from the pages... and it seems God is so wise he can put the all of the answers right in front of our faces without anyone having any idea.

Prior to bible there were much older civilizations like The Mayan, we have recognized them to be, with the Egyptians, one of the most advanced civilizations on earth. And im not talkin about the latest fancy technology, their mathematical, architectual, astronomical, aestetic and literaty ingenuinery is unrivaled by any other culture. Thats the origins of most stuff in the bible with a touch of propaganda from the babylon sekte's that were meant for no good.As you see today religion is used and abused for wars and such to fit the agenda.

Good post. The Mayan's are said to be the first people I dont know the facts, but the Mayan calendar ends in 2012, maybe the end of civilization as we know it?

There is something un-nerving about this particual prediction, possibly it seems more alarming because it can not be dismissed as a rant of a single accentric individual.  But it can be itepretaded different that comes closer to the truth. We re living in the Pisces age known as  ''the age of deception'' and in 2012 its moving to the other sign of the zodiac what will bring a lot of change in the human psyche, it has already began by the way more and more people are getting spiritual. But in order to create a new conciousness, you will first need to destroy the current awereness. When the light begins to shine it wil reveal lots of dirt that has been kept in the darkness. That will be hard for us humans. Pluto is arriving closer to earth, and he will be the teacher of that, forget about the nibiru bullshit thats just made up to generate cash.

The joke's on you dude, 2012 actually happened a while ago, the mayans didn't account for leap years and such.

I wouldn't trust any calendar older then 50 years.

You can say in 2012 we are getting in another age, its a cycle, the age of revealing and discovery, the earth has a lot of cycles, the rulers also know that, we humans are very connected with this planet and materials have lot of influnece at our psyche, as well as materials of other planets around as. Pluto is going to be a cleaner. Its also expected that our 7 chakra's will change in to 13 chakra's. I have unleashed this white enlightment in myself to some extend, but the ego is still strong.

That is nice.

However, it does remind me about how some who pray don't really THINK .
One lady in La, told me they prayed and the huricane moved east and my a miracle of GOD they were saved from the storm.
I said to her;" So, you don't think anyone who got hit by the storm prayed?"

I said to her;" So, you don't think anyone who got hit by the storm prayed?"

and she stood there with a puzzled face

but if you think further how come prayer is effective, because it is often, after a nice prayer you feel protected, the ''ego'' needs support, and thinking a outside power gives it, in the mind it becomes truth
