Seriously Id like Bob Chick to watch this docu and tell me bodybuilding has even one ounce of credibility, every facet of this "sport" gets exposed and shamed, a must watch if you need your eyes opened.

I really dont care enough to watch any of it...there are freaks and weirdo's in every facet of life...get used to it.

BB is certainly no exception...but the business of BB, and the sports supp industry, etc is all far removed from any of this shit you're obsessed with...

I find the fact that you spend your time gloating over this more frightening...

Well lets just take one part of the documentary, women doing private sessions, you honestly think that at least half the women competitors havnt done one?Thats akin to half the NFL being male escorts while not playing, your delusion about your "sport" is frightening.

great, so whats your point?

So what aspect of life do you believe is 100% pure? Politics? Hollywood? Music business? Sports? Big Business?

Why you're HERE is a bigger delusion

Im well aware most aspects of life arnt 100% pure, but most aspects of life dont have a huge % of impure as bodybuilding.Your thinking is like saying Somalia isnt so bad as there have been crimes committed in Norway too.

Your point was addressed in my response....

Why do you refuse to answer as to why you spend your time on a site dedicated the the sport you hate?

  • What you!
Interesting documentary from the wimp's point of view. The skinny guy was funny but many who he interviewed missed his humour.

Guy Grundy was there and even one of the Barbarians. The video focussed on women with muscles and it more or less showed what was happening in the sport.

I have been saying for years now that this ^%#^%$@#^%@# sport had better clean itself up and do strict testing for all banned substances. Even Charles in the

video was worried about the drug aspect and what it did. Do we really expect the pro athletes rep to give a shit about drugs in this sport?

He can't even be civil to someone on Getbig with difficult questions.

I am NOT going to beat this to death, but c'mon Chick, we both know plenty of pro and top amatuer bodybuilders that are on contract to endorse various supplements AND are/were directlly involved in rather unsavory stuff behind the scenes.

Obviously, THIS kind of thing is NOT unique to BB considering the recent Tiger Woods and Ben Rosthleburger (sp?) sex scandels.  Look at what happened to the sponsors of Tiger Woods when his scandel broke. Granted, he is a huge media star in sports, but his deal was basic hook ups with adult hot babes, and it was a big deal.

Imagine if the actual truth was known about some bodybuilders and the crap they did?

Bob is just shameful really, I'm amazed he gets any sponsorships. Can you imagine a politician turning on one of his constituents and namecalling when asked a legitimate question about the state of the constituency? He'd be booted out of office in a hearbeat.Shows Bodybuilding has no class, guidelines or ethics.

Yes, "WE" know about this stuff along with the extreme level of mostly illegal drug use all too common in hardcore BB.
The sad truth is that if EVERYONE in the gen public knew, their ability to get an decent supplement contract would be a LOT lower.

Chick is correct that the avg idiot at the Arnold Expo doesn't knolw too much abouit this crap, butit would really be a scandel for Arnold and pro BB if they did.

Bodybuilding at the professional level is controlled by a closed group who don't have to pay attention to the muscleheads. They do what they like and the bodybuilders follow like sheep. It has been like this for decades. I have said it before and I will say it again that Bob is part of the problem in our sport. You have to get rid of the lot of them to improve the sport.

I didnt take up a public post to represent anything, you did.The fact you cant answer any tough questions without trying to change the subject shows you are not fit for the role.

Howard, believe me even kids know about steroids. They also believe you need protein to grow muscles. That is why they buy it. It is a sham but there you are. This bullshit has been going on even before I started training. When you sell something that people need every month or two you can make a fortune.

Howie...people have to CARE in the first place in order for there to be a "scandel"...BB isnt high enough on the food chain for people to give a shit either way.

Strange, this forum shows alot of people displeased with the state of bodybuilding. So you are bascially saying that because bodybuilding is a fringe "sport" that you can neglect your duties as a representative and not give a shit about the fans.Again, why do you still have this "role"?

There are natural federations with seemingly clean cut individuals... but nobody cares...

The fans are the problem?
