Who is the better winner of the NY Pro or the better rookie? Okay, many of you know I don't see Evan Centopani as anything but a dude with good arms and legs, bur I think he has no heart. He won the NY Pro last year against a weak field that included a weak Ruhl and DJ, both of whom have been lethal in the past. Roelly, who won his pro card at the Arnold Amatuers last year, placed 7th at the Arnold, 3rd at the Aussie and won the NY Pro. The Arnold was a tough field, and so was the Aussie Pro, the NY Pro was a third tier show, with the respectable type of competitors.

And then there is the thing where one took 18 mos off to prepare, and the other jumped right in, showing that he is game. Oh, and BTW, MattT hates Roelly, me I said, he was going places, like i said Phil was and prior to that Richard Jones.

Evan Centopani .. taller , more aesthetic and besides that a very friendly guy.

Might still be lacking a bit but I just don't see a lot of future potential for Roelly .. his midsection/obliques look horrible.

parker...you hate evan...so cut the hidden agenda.

roelly is better out the gates but evan had size and could do damage like actually win the mrO if he progresses during his layoffs. it's a weak generation of bbers if kai is killing the golden boy...so those 2 could have some top 6 finishes maybe in their futures. roelly should have been 6 not 7.

as far as mattT...i didnt see his comments on roelly. what were they? he could learn from roelly since they are nearly the same height and build...and he still having problems winning his class a local shows.

and to mattT...i hope you got on paper your stake in that web site...and arent0 promoting it for nothing...since you dont own the domain.

Tied right now. Can't really say who has more potential. Roelly is thicker, Evan is taller...Evan is not really that wide for his height but he isn't narrow either.

i personally see it like this:

i think rollley due to his height, has pretty much maxed out his frame

too much additional mass is going to ruin alot of his lines symmetry and seperation

in a perferct world he would just add the mass where he needed, his chest abd back, but it wont happen like that

he looked very polished last weekend though

As you said, I'm am NOT a fan of Evan, but I think he has some world class arms. What you did say does make sense. I do think that Frank McGrath a better marketing model for Animal than Evan. Frank represented the company model- and coming, hungry, grassroots, underground. He had that edgey old skool blue collar vibe to him. Evan does not, Frank seemed hard working, Evan hardly working. Too bad Frank tore a bicep.

Evan might have the edge though - when he was in top form, he looked great... but Roelly, in one years time, has surprised all! Definately the rookie of the year.

Quite true. Roelly came outta nowhere, pretty much the break thru of the year. But most surprisingly, in terns of the Western Hemisphere, he used the Arnold Am, as a pro qualifier, thus giving that contest more cred, and look at the quality the typical NPC qualifiers are putting out these past yrs. None can really match Roelly, so what is that saying about the NPC these day

manion sr is still the chairman and earns a generous six figure income plus travel, lodging and all covered. manion jr is the official photographer. any other manions on that cash cow non-profit payroll.

Well, it seems he should do some more strigent quality control. This whole system needs to cleaned out...their needs to be a effctive enema for cleaning everybody out. Maybe if the Feds stepped in as a to regulate the abuse in drugs and judging there might be some cred giving back to bbing. Now, I said abuse, bbing and drug use go hand in hand, just like pro football, so some tolerance should be normal. The corruption in bbing is soo bad and soo transparent, we joke it about all the time, even the competitors do.
