The problem as I see it: fragmentation. Too many subfora and such dilute the poster base. People can run and hide in their own little corner and never be called out. Prime example: powerlifting. Keep that shit in G&O. Yes, some PLers will get their squat suit in a bunch because of the comments they will get. But then again: sometimes people need to listen to outsiders for an objective evaluation. you may not like what they say, but that doesn't mean they are wrong.

So merge a shitload of subfora.

 Indeed. The only reason why i'm living in the middle of a busy society is because I need money. When I save enough money i'm gonna live in the woods. I wish I could do it now.

The funny thing is, that people try to make you feel guilty about not having 2087176198790 "friends". Fuck that. I have three real friends, and that's plenty. I can go to each of them for a quick few thousands or a place to stay, and I will get it -- no questions asked. That is real friendship. Anything else is just acquaintances who take up time but never really contribute. They can go die in a pubic hair inferno.

 True. Especially in the US. There's this stigma that if you're successful and cool that you must have dozens of friends.

 I just don't want to waste my time hanging out with that many people. A few quality people is all I need. And when I crave the city I can just travel to it for a few days or whatever.

 Right now i'm living in polluted urban chaos. I need to get away.
