Dio's dressing room was a sex infested drug and alcohol dungeon.

Sheesh--Dimebag, Pete Steele, Paul Baloff, now Ronnie. What the hell's going on?  :-X

Lots of good metal heads have gone the way of T Rex, very sad indeed!

Ronnie James Dio still to me had the best metal voice of all time.  What a giant of metal.  Damn I am feeling old right now.

RIP Ronnie!

I'm going to see Slayer in August.  They are to me the kings of metal.

RJD was the best vocalist though.

Amazing song.  Damn I'm pissed he died!

I'm a Slaytanic maniac.  I listen to Slayer probably 75% of time since 1986 when Reign in Blood came out and since.

the day Slayer retires I think I will cry.  Their last album was amazing.

I'm sad about DIO though.  His voice was amazing.

A sad day indeed for Mr. Arvilla. His punishment is to be condemned to the bodybuilding prison and watch all of his childhood heroes die away. The pain of an aged hipster  ;D

Not my cup of tea sir. I am a huge TOOL fan, I cannot get into death metal no matter how hard I try. The singer might actually tryin SINGING once in a while. Grunting into the mic is retarded IMO.

This is really sad.  My first concert ever was a Dio concert from the Sacred Heart tour back in like 84.  I just saw him in AC which was my last concert.  All of my friends bailed out on me because it was last minute.  I'm glad I went because I would have never had that 2nd chance.  Great show.

Very sad to hear this. One of a very few artists who actually define a genre. He was THE metal vocalist.

I've noticed guys here have posted some of his later work. This was the first song I ever heard with Dio on vocals. I was instantly a fan of this band.  Some cool Blackmore guitar intro, as well.
