The owing of the above item, flying "Engerrrrland" flags on you car or having your face painted with a cross of St George when above the age of 12 should carry the penalty of enforced sterilisation.

The horns are called vuvuzelas, to be honest they're already starting to annoy the hell out of me...I think theyre some sort of tradition in south africa or something, cos i never seen or heard of one till a couple of days ago, and i been watching football since coming out the womb

Thanks for clarifying...I think for me, soccer reminds me a bit of hockey.  Not a lot of scoring and a lot of back and forth.  I know american football has it's dead moments and baseball has a lot as well, but i think mainstream america is hooked on those two sports.
I'll give this next game a shot.  Although, I am really interested in watching the Brazil/N. Korea game.  Does N. Korea have Kim Jong and a nuke head embroidered on their jerseys? ;D
N Korea against S Korea....that'd be a game!  (Of course i dont know what i'm talking about).... ;D

Americans like sports that they dominate that's it , if the US soccer team was the best in the world ,soccer would be huge in America.
I heard people  in America saying tennis sucks now , isn't like it used to be when Sampras ,Agassi were playing  ::)
HW boxing is dying despite the fact that Vitali Klitchko made 25million in his last fight.

Americans got really excited about the Tour the France when Amstrong was dominating  now they don't give a fuck
Swimming was the most exciting sport in the world  ::) in the last Olympic games................... ........................ ..................

While I agree with much of what you said, i still think the lame ass 0-0 ties are certainly not helping.....Americans like action, and I don't care what happened....if a game goes on for 2 hours and nobody even scores = suck ass.

The problem with what you say as it relates to soccer is that NONE of the US's best athletes grow up playing soccer because we dont like it, not the other way around.  My money is on Adrian Peterson, Chris Johnson, Ray Rice being the best soccer players in the world had they grown up focusing on developing those skills. LeBron James = the best goalie ever.  Or further, the numerous athletes trying to make it to the NFL/NBA who couldnt cut it, yet who knows how good they would have been at soccer.

The same can be said for every other country or region. The Europeans suck at American football, baseball and basketball, hence they don't care about it.

SOMETHING THAT YOU DON'T KNOW ABOUT SOCCER is that you don't have to be a great athlete to be a good soccer player ,being the fastest ,the strongest ,the tallest, the biggest ,highest jumper.................. .....................etc    doesn't mean shit in soccer

They won't be blowing their horns when they have to walk 23 miles to go to school in the morning.
