They're all about 50 years old nowadays and have no idea how to attack (they never have in fairness) Italy are great at boring the world to death with their rigid tactical systems. Dont forget Holland destroyed them in 2008, theyre not exactly world beaters anymore

They're looking better since Camoronesi came on to be fair. The Paraguay keeper's had a nightmare for that goal though! The only way Italy can score these days it seems :-D

they pretty much lay waste to asian teams no matter the line up.

on a side...they will miss ronaldinho's passing n setup skills. that will be their downfall if they dont win if they have to deal with spain, italy or germany before the finals.

WELL DONE NEW ZEALAND!!!

wow that was a real shock, a team of semi-pro journeymen managed to get a late equaliser against a (supposedly) good Slovakia side.

They defended well and produced a couple of good chances, and scored a very well worked goal. Always great to see players playing way above their normal ability level.

Most people would say Italy should win that by a distance. But if New Zealand defend well like they did today and take the one or two chances that come their way they have a chance to at least keep the game close and make the italians work hard for their victory. The gap in quality between New Zealand and Italy is enormous though, so I cant see the Kiwis winning unless Italy has an even worse day than they did yesterday (which is pretty hard to do!)

this has got to be the worst start to a world cup ive ever seen, the amount of work I coulda done instead of wasting time watching the endless crap thats been on our screens this past week...roll on Brazil, please do something interesting.
