is MF Gilberto Silva wrong? he says Cote d'Ivoire, being a bigger African team, will play to win and open the game up vs Korea? but what if CsI plays for an 1:0 lead with Drogba...best striker on either side...and tanks the game in a 3-3-5 defense and plays counter strike? can Brasil rebound in that storyline?

wow the guidos got held by new zealand. Incredible, I said last week that new zealand drawing to slovakia was amazing...this is frankly insane.

so many European 'giants' are playing like utter crap, and the little teams are really showing heart and fighting spirit. Truly amazing, what a topsy turvy world cup its turned out to be.

Chalk up Italy as another overrated Euro team. The Dutch are the only good team from that continent.

lets be honest the dutch were very lucky to win yesterday...japan outplayed them for good periods of that game...so to say they're good right now is a little generous even if they have six points.

Italy's game on saturday was a fucking joke. They had about 16 shots on net and just couldn't score. New Zealand had one shot on net. I think its safe to say that this world cut will be a cinderella team that wins it all. It seams to me that all the top dog teams are either finishing with a tie or they're losing.
