Im 100% for this.I think Japan does this when they have a spill like this.This should have been done from day one.In fairness to Obama his base of enviro kooks would scream bloody murder but the area is a disaster now,nothing could really make it worse.

I don't associate with the tea party, nor do I associate with the far-left. You need to stop painting anyone who disagrees with your hero as a far-right winger.

Nor do I have any problems with a small nuke capping the well. In-fact, that should have been considered from day one.

As of right now, the government, along with doing nothing to fix this spill, is now preventing people from starting to fight back against the oil or start their clean up. I wonder why that is?

It's been 40 days and it's this bad. Can anyone imagine what it will be like in another 2-3 months? It's unfathomable. Obama should keep taking vacations, though.

Back to the oil spill - hindsight is a wonderful thing.

BP was sayidn on day one that it was only a few thousand barrels and they would have it capped soon so I'm sure even you would agree that it would have been absurd for Obama to sugges nuking it at that point.  

There are been plenty of other lies, excuseses and failed projetions by BP since then and althought the nuke thing has been floated as an idea I'm not sure it's ever been done before (the Russians might have done it but they don't have the same political contrastraints that we do) and we have no clue if it will do more harm than good

I can't see the cons being worse than letting a well pour millions of gallons of oil into the ocean for 5 straight months. It's already worse than the Valdez and the relief well won't be done until August.
