Different materials have so much influence on the psyche, its very facsinating, i know for a fact that it works.
I bought a couple of cristals like agath/blue lace agath to keep me safe in the earlier days of meditation where i stumbled across some lower energies, there is some scary shit in there!! Dont need it anymore since i aquired higher energy sources like the xenon white light which i dissolved in to.  I have this particular necklace stone, a combination of Jaspis/Rhodoniet, after 30 min of wering that one my heardbeat would become crazy high and fast, then i did some research and thats the purpose of the cristal to give you power in hard times, but i dont like the fast heartbeat at all, that alone is proof enough for me that astrology is not some bullshit and indeed the stars/planets have a big effect on our psyche with their materials.
