This is the worst part about bodybuilding. Force feeding all the meat and other shit. God damn it gets old being a slave to that protein.

Force feeding?  Not at all, I enjoy what I eat.  For example, I dont like vegetables so I hardly eat them, even though they are "bodybuilder-friendly."  I do eat high fiber cereal and take multivitamins to compensate.

Happy Heart Attack Bob!!  :)

I guess you didn't read the link to its nutritional info I posted  ::)

Chicken among alot of other grub....any food I eat he wants :-\

.....he's a growing boy ;D

That's like my male cat (in the photo) - he always sits with me and stares when I'm eating meat or even cooking it lol - chicken and sushi too.  I have another (female) cat that is just content with cat food on the other hand.

BTW steaks from M&M are flash frozen after they are aged and marinaded, so even after thawing in the fridge they retain flavours as though they were fresh.

Cornfed beef is tastier than grassfed, has better marbling, etc.  Not as good for you tho.  Don't live on the stuff, Bob.

Did it cost you mean?  Or how many steaks?

It's 32 packs of 4 steaks each (6 oz steaks).  They were on sale so I stocked up since I eat them all the time as it is, was $320 - at reg. price would have been $448.  They come frozen and marinaded.  Each steak is only 4 grams of fat and 33 grams protein, since they trim most fat off and use a water-based marinade.  I keep several in the fridge at a time and just throw them on the grill - very fast, easy to make and high protein low/fat.  Zero trans fans per steak too.

Did you buy it from one of guys that drives around in a refrigerated truck selling meat? Seriously. If you did thats a smart buy.

No, its a grocery chain, they have small stores with a pretty big variety of meats and frozen dinners and desserts only - no dairy, fruits/vegetables, breads, etc.

Didn't Matarazzo have a pre-existing heart condition? And didn't heart conditions run in his family? If that's the case, this would exceedingly increase the risk of heart problems. I bet he would have had heart problems even if he didn't eat all that red meat.

Probably true but roids could have played a part too.

That's what the nutrient label says, do you think it might not be legit?  There must be some regulations on those.

I'm guessing if its 0.04 or less they round it down to 0.0 rather than up to 0.1.

Could be wrong but I think trans fats are found only in very small amounts in nature, so small it's not even worth thinking about.  Most are man made by the process of partial hydrogenation, like in margarine, and you'll find them in a lot of industrial baked and processed foods because they're cheaper than natural fats and they have a longer shelf life.  They taste worse tho and have a shitty mouthfeel, in addition to being way worse for you.  You've probably noticed an unpleasant waxy residue in your mouth after eating an industrial bakery product of some sort, like pastry or cake.  That's a manufactured fat.

As I mentioned earlier, most beef in the US is cornfed and has a crappy Omega 6/3 ratio.  Also something which isn't found in nature because cows don't eat corn without human intervention.  Some people believe that a vast majority of today's health problems come from eating things which evolution didn't prepare us to eat.

Nothing beats beef.  One week I went on a beef splurge, ate lean ground meat, steaks, etc... all week every day and I swear I had the best workouts, felt full and pumped all of the time.  When I eat just chicken and fish I feel flat, less energy in the gym and not as pumped.
