There are so many great guitar players, but what makes the late Billy Jones a cut above is his tone and ability to tell a story with his solos.

This is the 1st part of Green Grass and High Tides performed at a festival in Germany 1981.

What makes this clip so cool is that at about the 4:15 mark, Billy lauches into a solo. When he finishes at about 7:00, the normally reserved German crowd gives him an ovation DURING the song.

clapton did not tap,and solo on the neck like eddie.eddie used distortion,hammer,and other techniques most players never did or he expanded on it.page,hendrix,did wild stuff before,but eddie is the king .if u ever seen eddie play live esp during his guitar solo like it or not the arena is his for 10 minutes and it is something to see and hear.

I know that I'm gonna catch some flack for saying this, but I'm a big fan of love songs, and in this regard them Jewish folk kick some major ass: Niel Diamond, Billy Joel, Simon and Garfunkel, Babs, Carol King, Carly Simon. And in my humble opinion, Wildflower by Skylard, IS the most beautiful love song ever written. I also like blue-eyed soul, namely the Doobie Bros and Ambrosia.
