Hola.
Am I the only one that sees things differently here? For instance:
1. The majority of the Gaza strip is, as of today, the largest open-air jail in the world.
2. Knowing how much Israel hates the majority of Muslim countries (and viceversa mind you), do you think it was a good idea, on the part of the UN, to let a Turkish vessel kind of spearhead the humanitarian operation? I presume the Turks kinda wanted to bring Gaza back into the limelight because, let's face it, it is quickly becoming Israel's graveyard, and the UN is taking notice, all the while helping the Palestinians, who the Turks did not give a shit about until Israel got involved in the area.
3. The UN, the Voice of the World, has the following record when it comes to Israel vs. it's Arab neighbors (mostly Palestinians):
Security Council:
175 Total Resolutions
74 Neutral
4 Against the perceived interests of an Arab state or body
97 Against Israel
General Assembly:
Cumulative Number of Votes cast with/for Israel: 7,938.
Cumulative Number of Votes cast against Israel: 55,642.
With such a record, tell me fellow Americanos, why is it so hard to understand why we're only but a handful of countries that seem to have a benign view of a terrorist countr?
