yup, because everyone here on Getbig has at minimum a Masters, has a linear career path right to the corner office and is going retire comfortably at 50.
Who knew that people that frequent a BBing website were far more successful than the average person fucking douches
Shoot the messenger if you must, but the OP has posed a relevant and worthwhile question for a BB message board. The truth is BB is a short ride; we all know about the ones who flame out in illness, death, jail (Francois, Muntzer, Titus, etc.), but BB stages are filled with guys who are still out there… somewhere… doing something. What are they doing? How are they doing? Getting to the BB stage requires serious dedication and follow through. Have some of these guys been able to execute their lives off stage as well? Do they still train years later? What do they look like now? What kind of company do they keep? Etc. These and similar questions are behind the OP and it’s something people are interested in.
The OP also points out something that is too often forgotten by competitors or left unsaid: the industry is
using them to make a lot of money—and paying them very little in return.. Why would a young wannabe sign up for this (ego? vanity?) and do they ever stop to think about how short the ride is and what they will do once it’s over? Ego and vanity don't often lead to a secure future.
There are a lot of silly and, I would argue, unwelcome threads posted here but more than any other that I can easily recall this is one young competitors should be reading and thinking about.
