I think we embarrassed the rest of the world in basketball at the Olympics.

I think you got embarrassed in 2004 by Argentina.
You also seem to forget that the Olympics is a tournament for AMATEURS!
The USA couldn't stomach that and got permission from the FIBA in 1989 through Boris Stankovic to field NBA players in the Olympics.
Ofcourse the USA took that opportunity and fielded their dream team of professionals against the amateurs of the Olympics.

it's obvious he keeps banging other women difference now is she agrees with it as long as she can live off his money while raising his daughters. Somehow it's not like she didnt agree with it in the first place either anyway, she "stood by him" knowing he cheated on her with a trashy whore just because he felt like it would be cool to cum on her face and then head back home play video games before next game.
He doesnt give a flying fuck about them at all, it's just for the marketing. These people just live a very "libertarian" kind of life, with mothers, fathers, sons and daughters fucking who they want when they want with everyone else knowing it but not giving a fuck about it. That's how rich people live, cause they can afford it.

Oh, actually, the worst part was that I didn't bet Boston +7 last night.  Man - to win a thousand bucks AND have my boys win the title woulda been the shit. :D

Gotta find one of those sparkly Kobe jerseys for my little girl, though. ;)

Yes, USA is the best  ::)

Please tell us Mantronik....which country has better basketball teams?...it seems as though you think the NBA isn't far and away the best organized basketball in the world.

You realize that guys that can't make it in the NBA go play in Europe, right?

You also realize that the NBA has quite some non US guys in their Association, right?

I don't know a thing about basketball on a technical level, but I do know that you can't call yourself world champion on the assumption that you are the best without testing it first.
Why doesn't Brasil win every football world cup? Don't they have the best players, but can't manage to win every 4 years at the world cup?
It's not that I don't think the NBA doesn't have the best basketball players in the world, but wouldn't it be fair and more boasting if you really beat all teams the world championship is throwing at you?

How come the NBA players (collection of the best in the NBA) couldn't win from Argentina at the 2004 Olympics?

I hope you know what I'm trying to say: give others a chance to compete before you call yourself world champion.
Just because you are considered the best and are expected to win, it doesn't mean you will.
And who knows which talents in other countries are being discovered during these matches?

Look what's happening at the WC football right now: who thought that the USA would come back from a 2-0 deficit a few hours ago?
But they got a chance to compete and they proved to be worthy opponents.
Should the USA be sent home because Brasil, Germany, Argentina, etc etc are better then them anyway so don't bother giving it a try?
Maybe something good comes from this and gets more youth in the USA motivated to pick up football.
Same goes for basketball and talents in other countries.

Thats because the US college students were playing against pros, or people playing pro Euro leagues...and the US was like "eff that".

kobe is a complete and utter utter kunt. he is a good player but a Jordan wannabe who in his own deluded mind is greater than MJ.

I only saw game 7, good, tight game which i'd rather have seen Boston win to stick it to kobe.

They need to change that "World" Champions tag to USA and Canadian".
