IF brock carwin or whoever would have got caught in that triangle they would have tapped werdum is that good on the ground..no doubt about that . if he catches you you are going to pay for the mistake. with that being said i think fedor will def. win a rematch against werdum because i doubt he will make the same mistake again

Cage definitely helped Werdum.  He just had his guard passed, was eating hammer fists and executed a perfect Grandby roll that the momentum of his roll set up his triangle perfectly.  Once your posture is broken and the arm trapped, it is a matter of time.  Werdum is a two time Mundial world champ, and an Abu Dhabi world champ.  Wot happens if Fabricio beats Overeem again?

Who said he's the #1 fighter in the world?  I said he is more of a threat to Fedor than the UFC HW champion.  Why you ask?  When you look at a fighter who's M.O. is to take guys down and jack off punch them, and you put him against a guy that is the best BJJ practioner in the HW division in all of MMA you get one result.  (FYI Werdum's BJJ is on another level than that of anyone in the UFC HW division including Mir and Nogiera, his accomplishments in sport BJJ and in MMA using that speak for themselves).  That's just using the realistic method of matching each fighters strengths against each other and leaving out the arbitrary paper rankings you rely on to support your whining.  This is MMA, not a bodybuilding contest, try watching MMA a few more months and maybe you'll realize that.

Have you seen Brock or Carwin's strength in action? I am well aware that this is not bodybuilding. Brock and Carwin not only look like monsters, they are monsters.

Werdum will move up in the rankings due to his victory, but please, quit making excuses for Fedor.

Fedor is a good HW fighter that has been fighting mediocre talent and he was finally exposed when he fought a #10 ranked guy.
