Looking at the headline you'd think this was about restrictions on Congressional hemp use.

This is likely to be changed.  It's an overreaction because of an irresponsible, not well-thought-out initial law back in 2014 and 2018.  No one thought to consider that .3% THC based on dry weight means that a 6-gram edible gummy can contain up to 18mg of THC.  Most people can get high off 10mg of THC.  THC is THC, whether you derive it from cannabis or hemp, (hemp is defined as all of the plant that contains less than .3 percent THC, including stems, leaves, buds, seeds, etc.   Furthermore, no one in our brilliant government thought to consider that THCa (the acidic form of THC that is mostly in cannabis) which is deemed by the DEA as legal,  is non-psychoactive until it's burned and then becomes the psychoactive THC.  So it was only a matter of a few years that growers learned to grow marijuana that's .3% THC or less, but with 20%+ THCa.  Go read the label on the 1/8 at a dispensary where you can buy one in your state.

The real problem here is that the federal government was absent in its duty to create regulations on hemp products, such as age and packaging requirements.  So, gas stations, sketchy smoke shops, and convenience stores have been selling to minors, and products are being sold that aren't compliant with federal laws.

Meanwhile, 179,000 people die a year of alcohol, and 490,000 people die a year of tobacco.

And the alcohol industry has been taking a revenue hit over the last few years because people stopped drinking and started getting high instead.

Great job Mitch, you fucking old dumb ass turtle slipping that in to get the government to reopen and potentially bankrupting the Hemp farmers in your own sorry inbred state.

Only a matter of time before its legalized at the federal level. Surprised it hasn't happened already.

Migraine headaches are a cause of CVS (Cyclical Vomiting Syndrome). One of the treatments for migraine headaches is medical marijuana. Marijuana use may cause CHS (Cannabinoid Hyperemesis Syndrome) which is also known as CVS. ...An example of dammed if you do and dammed if you don't?
