It's cynical but I have a hard time believing someone unable to find companionship locally is single because they're so great a catch no one in their area is able to appreciate it.

I won't write "never" because that's a long time but it's highly unlikely for someone with my personality to do the on-line thing.

Women actually like me a little too much and there are times I really envy chronically single people. Peace and quiet, no one's stuff to hear about, no family members or friends to navigate, fewer dates and stuff to remember, cheaper... I could go on but have to work out.

It's the oddest thing and always pisses off my girl. Especially when she feels they're rude or too obvious about it.
