He had to practically beg production to let him do that sendoff.

That was the moment that made him more human than any other during the show, IMO, and there were a lot of warm moments in that speech.  Made me miss him on-air all the more.

Shit...
You know what?
Forget what I wrote.

I was referring to the Nitro broadcast during which Heenan & Tony announced Gorilla's passing.
I don't know how I ended up on that when leafy was discussing the HOF speech.
Sorry.

My mind wanders...
Not far, but it does.

Oh ok...

I know for a fact that Flair wanted to say more but they cut his time short when he was doing his HOF speech. I though that that was wrong. A guy put in his life to the business / his job and they can't even let them speak as long as they want.

"I've been hit with a chair so many times the top of my head smells like an ass."

"Heard they just opened a new chicken and waffle house down the block........later Tony!"  (on Nitro as Tony Schiavone was packin on the pounds)

 ;D ;D

Heenan had a lot of good, original material.

Lawler uses a lot of stock/public domain jokes.
I know he's used lines from Dangerfield's act, too.

Oh absolutely! Some of his one liners / catch phrases that he came up with where just GOLD.

Thanks for posting!
That's the first I've seen Bobby in over a year.
In one way, it's a little sad, but in another, it's great to see him doing as well as he is considering his fight with cancer.
It sounds like he's still got his sense of humor and is enjoying life as best he can.

Billy Graham should take some notes.

I totally agree. Life is too short. Graham needs to stop being bitter and angry at the world. He made his own bed in life. Not WWE's fault.
