what helps in a real fight to the death is a gun,ref chris rock. muscle and bone is no match for cold steel.
mesomorph is a beast who benches 4 plates a side like its paper, darren avey is a wanna-be tough guy twink who benches 185 for a double. if your muscle has gotten bigger, then it has also gotten stronger. a muscle can get stronger without getting bigger, but never bigger without getting stronger. that doesnt mean that you must powerlift to get huge. reps in the 6-8 range (average) is still best for hypertrophy. you need to get stronger in that rep range.
