It's cute that a xenophobic, hate-filled bigot like yourself is crying when the hatred is turned your way. What's the matter? Can't handle it? You sure do have no problem spewing that same hatred.

I'll take you don't like the new decor...next time  I  will have Obama or his Imam contact you on the appropriate furnishing... You know how you people know how to decorate.

I couldn't care less. I'm getting a kick out of you, a hatred-filled Muslim bigot, playing the victim in all your posts now. Funny how your entire persona changes when the shoe's on the other foot, crybaby.

You see where the light isn't refracting off of the couch properly?

It's obviously a hologram.  In fact several noted scientists and thousands of volunteers think so.

BFD to the decor.

President Obama's new Oval Office at White House has distinct NY accent
new york daily news ^ | 9/1/10 | Kenneth R. Bazinet

WASHINGTON - President Obama's Oval Office has had a face-lift with a New York accent.

The office has undergone a top-to-bottom makeover, highlighted by handmade striped wallpaper from Amagansett in the Hamptons.

The President's brown leather desk chair, coffee table made of American walnut and mica, custom-made couches and two new table lamps with blue ceramic bases were all crafted by New York manufacturers.

The White House treated the identities of the Empire State companies who produced the furnishings like state secrets, declining to further identify them.

The price tag for the redo also was not disclosed, but interior design experts gave the Daily News a guesstimate of $20,000.

They might have changed the wall paper, but I think those doors were already like that.  It gives the impression that there are no doors there, a "secret door."

I am sure I saw something ISLAMIC in the decor...maybe all of this talk about Islam has warped my perception a bit...then again if you look carefully I could swear there is a faint star and crescent pattern in that new wall paper... Do you see it?

BTW...you have to visit the Moorish sections of Spain to really see and appreciate the architecture. The Islamaphobes can say what they will, but the Moors brought Islam into Spain and with it the university system, public baths and sanitation, wonderful architecture, music, writing, art work, science, medicine etc etc which made Spain the center of learning of all of Europe. It wasn't until 1492 when the Spaniards forced the Moors out that Spain that Spain collapsed into what it is today and has not ever regained that center of knowledge title again.

Why can't Islam do the same for the Middle East today?

TRENDING: Oval Office makeover widely criticized
Posted: September 2nd, 2010 02:18 PM ET

From CNN's Shawna Shepherd and Dan Lothian

The makeover of the Oval Office has been widely panned in press reports and on the blogosphere for being too casual.
Washington (CNN) – The makeover of the Oval Office has been widely panned in press reports and on the blogosphere for being too casual and for its bland color palate but White House press secretary Robert Gibbs doesn't expect President Obama to weigh in anytime soon.

Related:The Oval Office gets a makeover

"I have not heard him give a review on the reviews," Gibbs said, when asked what the president thought about his new office at Thursday's press briefing.

A design team swooped in and in less than 10 days – while the president and First Family were away on Martha's Vineyard – transformed the president's office from a traditional and somewhat formal setting to a more modern family-style room.

There's a new signature oval rug, leather desk chair, two overstuffed light brown couches, a walnut and mica coffee table with modern lines, two blue ceramic lamps and blue accent pillows on the couch, reupholstered furniture, and handmade striped wallpaper.

But history did not go out the door in this redesign. The president held onto the historic Resolute desk, paintings, and other art work he added when he came into office.

Usually every president puts his personal stamp on the Oval Office with a redesign early in the administration. Up until now, President Obama has been working in an office designed for then-President George W. Bush, complete with formal cream floral couches, traditional furniture, off-white walls and a sunburst oval rug.

Obama's newly designed rug was produced and donated by Scott Group Custom Carpets, the same company that designed the former President Bill Clinton's Oval Office rug. Obama's rug is wheat-colored with accents of cream and blue. Lining the border are historical quotes that were handpicked by President Obama, including Martin Luther King, Jr. and four former presidents.
In an apparent effort to head off criticism, the White House pointed out that all of the materials and furniture came from U.S.-based companies, and that taxpayers won't foot the bill.

These kinds of projects have always been funded by the White House Historical Association, with money from the Presidential Inaugural Committee.

The White House would not reveal the final price tag, but said it is comparable to what the two former presidents spent on their Oval Office makeovers.
