i like Stewart.....Carolina is going to have to run the ball with their impotent passing game....even with Smith.  Jacobs was terrible last year and I want to see what he has this year.....plus I think Carolina's def is pretty solid.....although young.

Well, I didn't listen, until about an hour before, then I did.  It cost me about five points.

I'm down 7 with Boldin and Bowe vs. Floyd and Gates.   Should be interesting... ;D

The Panthers are idiots.  Why not punch it in with either Stewart or Williams?  Sorry about my bad advice.

I have Boldin too.....so we can be on the same side tomorrow night !! 8)

I think they are waiting on Cowher. Fox is a placeholder.

I think Kubiak is a good coach. He's done wonders for Schaub, even though him and AJ screwed me this week. ;D

LOL I agree I dont understand why everybody is calling for his head down here...

LOL foster was going to be my semi sleeper pick i snagged in the 5 or 6th round this year but he got picked up in the 2nd round or so...

kinda pissed me off he had such a good day even though I was rooting for the Texans.

I agree.  Fox is an 8-8, 9-7 kinda coach who isn't going to improve them enough....witness the passing game being so weak for so long.  The guy isn't willing to change anything enough....you have to adapt quickly in the NFL.

i saw Cowher here in Ral a few months ago at the pharmacy.  this was before his wife passed away.

No worries on that, my man.  Your advice was sound.  I'm a Giants fan, and I knew Jacobs had lost the starter tab, so I moved it.

Go Boldin!

Dumb ass me. I knew I should have started Orton over Smith. I'm winning anyway and still got Jones tonight against SD.

who picked up brandon jackson?
« Reply #36 on: September 16, 2010, 10:34:02 AM »
I DID, I DID... ;D

it does put me in a little bind though b/c i also have finley and driver as well so if i play him i have 3 ppl on the same offense.

So I have thomas jones, ray rice, matt forte and brandon jackson now...

I think ray rice is a given and jackson is playing the bills this week who dont have the best defense.

You guys think thats a good move or should I start jones or forte over jackson?

LOL I picked him up the day grant was placed on the IR list...I watched the first game and thought he was a decent rb so when they said grant was out I immediately snagged him up  ;D

I think he will pay dividends

I'd probably go with Jackson.  I can see GB getting a lead and running the ball a lot in the second half.

Grabbed V Jackson off the waiver wire in week one after someone dropped him.  If he gets traded before Wed, it could be huge.

Iono man wouldnt he still have to sit out the next 4 games?

I doubt he gets traded from what i hear they would have to pay him close to 9 million a year and also pay out his contract to the chargers...

you gotta be pretty desperate to go that far

Yes, he'd be ready by week 5.

No waiver pick up will have that impact.  From my standpoint, it was better than carrying Derrick Ward!

QB

2RB

2WR

1 Flex

TE, K, D

9 on the bench.  Plenty of room.  If V Jackson does play, that makes my WRs  Andre Johnson, V Jack, Boldin with Bowe on the bench.  That's really good.
