If you start running a fever head to the ER as fast as possible!

Is the "redness" sort of running away from the area you injected? If so, it will go away, it's just going to hurt for a few days.

One thing to keep in mind, there's really no reason to inject your calves, to begin, spot injecting things like testosterone doesn't do anything. Yes, it can cause some temporary inflammation but that's nothing to be excited about.

Next thing, there are more nerve endings in the calf than anywhere else in the body besides the face and because of that it's very easy to irritate that area. Think about when you train calves, nothing burns as much as calf training, why, because of all the nerves in the calf.

Also, a lot of guys simply get lumps and burns like you're talking about with prop, especially UG prop.

Last thing, if you're using UG gear, 9 times out of 10 it's not going to be as clean and pure as human grade gear, add in that fact to injecting into your calves with all the nerve endings and you got what you got. Use HG gear and HG prop and unless your allergic to prop and as long as you don't hit a nerve, you will never have a problem with it.

Your probably fine then, it's just going to hurt for awhile.

Calves are a really difficult area to inject and you really need to be more than accustomed to gear to ever inject there and even then there's rarely a reason to.

Like I said, if you develop a fever, go to the ER. If it's really already unbearable even without a fever, you still might consider going to the Dr. and getting an antibiotic.

ouch, calves are scary most people don't make that mistake more than a few times, yikes!  Hope it goes away, lumps are a pain in the ass, usually it will go away though.  Arj is the expert though on this stuff.

A fever does not in any way constitute a sign of infection now. In fact in some of the most serious infections you don't even have to have a fever, or a high WBC to be diagnosed with common staph or cellulitis of the skin.

If the area is hot to the touch and swollen still after 3 days without ANY decreased swelling you need to go to an ER clinic or ER if your doctor cannot see you within 24hrs.

Without a fever, if it is an abscess it should be a sterile abscess which although excruciatingly painful it is non-life threatening. If it is a sterile abscess, he should get it looked at and get an antibiotic and have it drained to relieve the pain.

But it's amazing how non life threatening medical problems start out small and end up big. It's UGL, best bet is to play it safe if it's still swollen. Good stuff back in the day we could always blame on high BA concentrate, and the redness and heat was fine, nowadays it seems it's all high concentrate of contaminates  :-\

You're absolutely right, that's why I'm always screaming Use HG...well, that and others reasons too. It makes no sense, none whatsoever to use any UG test.

No you won't. Contamination is not just 'bacteria' it can be for example toxins

I agree. Gotta run the gambit sometimes I guess. I skipped on the HG this time around. Will be filtering my UG with a .22 micron filter and baking it at 175 for 30.

Baking your gear is a bad idea. U can easily damage the hormone

I was only going to do it at 175 for 30 minutes, in a pan of water. Most recommend 250 degrees for 30 minutes. I'm still debating on heating it however, I am for sure going to filter it though.

I pin my calves all the time. The virgin muscle will get used to the hormone after a while. I have almost zero pain even when pinning my calves with sust.

I think you're one of the few lucky ones. I don't know too many people who are able to get away with that.

Curious, why do you inject your calves? I know a few pros who inject suspension in their calves and to me that is one of the only times it really makes any sense...even then for even these guys it hurts like crazy.

TNE and short ester gear. The last thing want is an oil build up and a sterile abscess. When cycling heavy with short esters I tend to shoot quite a bit and calves are very easy for me to shoot as I have very thick full calves.

Arnold Jr wise man is right again, glad it went away for you.

Also 4thAD, don't you have tons of nerves you hit while going in or injecting in your calves?
