oh brother...bean was a club fighter with a good right and short left hook against journeymen fighters.  now...he is a representative for boxing.  we already went over this.  unless a boxer has some basic high school roman wrestling skills to help him fight thru the take downs...the conversion just doesnt work even with one yr of training at chute.  hence...bobby, brock and even kirk angle have done/would do well.  time to put a lid on the mma vs boxing thing.

One of the worst lol.

Can you imagine if 90% of mma fans started arguing that brock lesnar and carwin etc would beat the world champ in boxing? ...in a bozing match  ;D

And even though they were proven wrong, the discussion would still remain for 10 + years

lol, tell me what happened.

He's keeping his chin waay up lol.

It wasn't MMA, it was a full contact Karate match in Denver, no gloves, no pads.  I was supposed to fight another 180 lb guy, but Pat Smith's opponent didn't show up.  I was young and cocky and thought I could beat the world so I offered to take the fight.  Pat Smith was 235 that night.  I lead the fight with the best low kick I had into his lead leg and he didn't even flinch.  Then he kicked me around the ring for the next three rounds.  I think I hit him as often as he hit me but I didn't have any effect on him and he was kicking me so hard my feet were coming off the ground.  I could barely walk for a week after the fight.
