^^^ It must be cold in the Capitol.

Currently, it is somewhere around 24° so yes, it is cold in the D.C. If you meant in the Capitol building in D.C., I have no idea what temperature they keep it at, but I read that it is set at somewhere between 68° and 74°. It is, however, hot and arid in Somalia. But Ilhan Omar immigrated to the U.S. when she was twelve years old, thirty-one years ago, so she has had plenty of time to adjust. ;D

Alleged by Trump.

Ilhan Omar's marital history is interesting though. Her first "husband" was Ahmed Hirsi. Husband in quotes because the 2002 union was a religious and not a civil marriage. Since Minnesota does not recognize common law marriages, she and Ahmed #1 were not legally married, but they did have two children together. They separated in 2008. In 2009 she (legally) married Ahmed Nur Said Elmi. They separated in 2011 and divorced in 2017. She then reunited with Ahmed Hirsi in 2018. They had another child and divorced in 2019. Presently, as best as we know, Ilhan is not married. Maybe because marrying her is a risky business. ;D

Alleged by a lot more than Trump.

No matter if it is hundreds of folks or even thousands, when something is alleged, it is not a proven fact. When Trump alleges something about someone it is newsworthy. This is partly because he has a habit of alleging nonsense about people, especially folks he dislikes and partly because he is a celebrity. When thousands of anonymous people allege something, it is usually not newsworthy.

It's not just being alleged by anonymous people.

It's not just being alleged by anonymous people.

Who then, Nancy Mace who Trump call 'crazy' and a 'terrible person' in 2022.

It would be easy enough to prove by checking her and her father's citizenship records. Based on what I have read, when Ilhan's father became a U.S. citizen in 2000, she automatically became a U.S. citizen, 'derivative citizenship. This was when she was 17 years old. So, there was no need for her to be married to a U.S. citizen, much less to her brother.

As of early 2026, Ilhad Omar remains a U.S. citizen, and no federal, court-verified proof has been produced to invalidate her 2000 citizenship status.
