So after checking out the "12 o'clock boyz", and hearing that the identity of Ghost Rider is confirmed, I guess I don't understand how these guys aren't in jail.  The 12 o'clock boyz don't even appear to be driving licensed bikes.....many are on ATV's in the street.  How is this allowed to go on?  Is there no community outrage about groups of kids pulling stunts through public streets there Parker?  That shit would cause an uproar if it was happening here.

The swedish cops knew exactly who ghostrider was for a long time but they couldn't do anything until they caught him in the act.

Well, there is outrage, but the thing is, is that police are told not to chase them. These guys and others go thru the Streets of Baltimore running lights, zooming in and out of traffic, riding on sidewalks, in packs. And the ATVs and dirt bikes are usually stolen. Many of the bikes are stolen from up and down the East Coast. I've seen a group of 60 going down the street on a Sat, I coming from a Wedding in Downtown Baltimore  and then all of sudden a whole of these dudes come down the street using the sidewalk, the street. Police are told not to pursue because it can cause a accident.

A park was proposed for them, but these are knuckle heads...so you can guess what would happen with the park situation.

How hard is it to get away from the cops?

I guess your chances are pretty good if you don't crash. I mean, unless you have a warrant or just robbed a bank, I don't think they are going to use a lot of resources to catch you.

You talking about Ghostrider/Black Devil or the situation in Baltimore? Some of those kids do rob people on the streets, others just want to ride. But many of them are worse than Black Devil with their antics, they crisscross and zoom in and out of traffic during rush hour, going onto the sidewalks, hitting people, and this is in Baltimore...I've seen these guys almost create accidents because people don't want to hit kids on ATVs---what would happe. If a Lincoln Navigator ran over a bike? The kids are too overconfident, and sometimes fly over the handles when they are going on and off sidewalks, or hit cars and fly over the hoods...

It was more of a hypothetical question. Unless they have a chopper on you, it's a pretty damn good getaway IMO

Charles Bronson would know how to handle this.

That actually shocks me.  With all the high tech stuff they were showing on that thing and the kind of speeds it can do and it's about as much as a nice Harley?  That trips me out.  I thought the response was going to be around 75-100k
the people including myself who ride bikes like this wouldnt be caught dead on a harley....

they arent really that pricey....you can get a used hayabusa for 5 grand, and a turbo kit for a little over 4 grand.......and have a bike that will break 200 in the standing mile as long as the rider, conditions, and the bike are good, and its top speed limiter is removed(TRE)....

the bike in the video really isnt that complicated...billet rods, pistons, stock crank, big turbo....labor will cost more than the parts..

Dont worry about why these guys go so fast. Some of us run on adrenaline rushes. Im taking advantage of these rare heat in NY tonight to take out out my r1 and race my boys down the highway. and I cant understand why someone would want to sit in a boring ass bar doing nothing, but I dont worry about what makes other happy.

The cars I'll be passing tonight will say 'what an idiot' meanwhile they're driving back from the bar piss drunk. Or there wll be a soccer mom in an suv whos putting on makeup and talking on her cell while swerving across 2 lanes.

I feel safer having a bike fly by me at 200 mph then to deal with the majority of the asshole car drivers.

So dont say were putting lives in more danger then they already are.

Guess I was overly impressed by the tech talk and the download card they talked about.  Sounded pricey.

When you have a city that has its roadways based on long sweeping roundabouts and neverending straights, the poliza has to expect guys like this to come out of the woodwork.   :-\

exactly Keith, did you know that the camera was on a Merc 300 and Lelouch put afterwards the sound of the Ferrari?

It was because the 300 was the only one that could keep the camera from moving like a jackhammer

i got to admit ive been doin this type of stuff since the late 80s...i love it and its addicting as hell if thats what ur into and i am big time and cannot help it...on my bike an 08 gsxr 1000 i can cruise around through heavy traffic goin from 100 to about 150mph  all day long....cops cant catch ya...when they try its a super rush
i know its stupid and dangerous but dont knock it till ya try it..no drug can touch it
round here i-475 east from sylvania-central strip exit.... to i-75 south through downtown toledo twistys is an insanely great (racetrack)  has spot where you can hit 185mph for 3 miles then run through the twistys at 120 to 140mph in n out of traffic its like 5-6 lanes wide all the way through  just like a track been doin this course now for 20+ years, probably never stop till i die.

i know i know idiot, stupid  but i dearly love it...

In Germany, you have no speed limits on a lot of highways.

You can drive your Hayabusa at full speed legally if you like (dare).

I have been driving from the place where i lived to the Netherlands on the highway in about one hour and then returned home from the netherlands on freeways with 100 kph speed limits (don't care much though) in about 2hours, depending on traffic.

Lots of good memories and fun.
